Der Motor ist gut verarbeitet, schaltet sich toll, ist sparsam mit meiner 85 Ah Autobatterie, zieht gut ab. Preis Leistung stimmt und ist empfehlenswert.

Der Antrieb ist nahezu geräuschlos und leistungsstark. Leider gibt es keinerlei Angaben zum Service und Ersatzteilen. Nicht einmal der Weg zu einer Ersatzschraube ist angegeben.

Motor ist an einer LIS-Family Jolle, funktioniert einwandfrei, auch mit 4 Personen und Gegenwind kein Problem. Die 5 Vowärts-und 3 Rückwärts-Stufen sind gut abgestimmt und lassen sich gut schalten. Höhe lässt sich in einem weiten Bereich einstellen, außerdem kann der Motor in verschiedenen Rast-Stellungen auf max ca.90Grad gekippt werden. Bei flachem Gewässer sehr nützlich. Habe eine 100Ah Batterie über einen 50A Hochstromstecker (und 40A-Sicherung) angeschlossen, alle Verbindungen mit Rohrkabelschuhen gecrimpt. Bisher 3Törns a 4-5 h, Batterie war nichtmal halb leer.

Motor is on a LIS family dinghy, works perfectly, no problem even with 4 people and a headwind. The 5 forward and 3 reverse stages are well coordinated and can be switched easily. The height can be adjusted over a wide range, and the motor can also be tilted to a maximum of approx. 90 degrees in various locking positions. Very useful in shallow water. Connected a 100Ah battery via a 50A high current connector (and 40A fuse), all connections crimped with tubular cable lugs. So far 3 trips a 4-5 h, battery was not even half empty.

Habe mir denn außenborder Waldeck 36 im diesen Jahr gekauft da ich vorher ein cobold rino vx 18 gehabt und der Unterschied ist groß ich bin mit denn außenborder sehr zufrieden bringt gute leistung und man kommt schnell vorwärts ich habe mit diesen Motor ein intex mariner 3 betrieben plus eine große Badeinsel für 6 Personen mit über gezogen alles in einem ein guter kauf kann ich nur weiter empfehlen

Die Probefahrt hat auf dem Rhein bei Köln stattgefunden. Gut das Wir Ruder dabei hatten. Die Rheinströung ist eindeutig zu stark für den kleinen Motor. Versuch macht klug, weiter ging es ans Mittelmeer. Und hier hat mich der Motor glücklich gemacht. Auf See'n oder auf ruhigen Wasser ohne starke Ströung top. Gerade das Manövrieren ist mit dem Motor sehr viel einfacher als mit dem Paddel. Kann den Motor empfeheln. Kleines Manko. Die Halteschrauben waren schon nach einem Tag im Salzwasser verrostet.

The test drive took place on the Rhine near Cologne. Good that we had oars with us. The Rhine current is clearly too strong for the small engine. Experiment makes you wise, we went on to the Mediterranean. And here the engine made me happy. Great on lakes or on calm water without strong currents. Maneuvering in particular is much easier with the motor than with the paddle. Can recommend the engine. Small flaw. The retaining screws were already rusted after a day in salt water.

Sehr zuverlässiger Verkäufer. Leider haben wir den Motor wieder zurücksenden müssen, da er für ein 4m Schlauchboot einfach zu schwach ist. Meiner Meinung nach ist das eine feine Sache, jedoch ist die Technik drumherum noch nicht so ausgereift. Wenn es eine Alternative zu den unpraktischen schweren Batterien geben würde, dann ist so ein Elektromotor eine echte Verbesserung.

Very reliable seller. Unfortunately we had to send the motor back because it is simply too weak for a 4m inflatable boat. In my opinion, that's a fine thing, but the technology around it isn't that mature yet. If there were an alternative to the impractical heavy batteries, then such an electric motor would be a real improvement.

Einsatz bei einem 4,5m langen Paddelboot mit 2 Personen mit Gepäck, Gesamtgewicht ca. 280 kg. 5 Fahrstufen lassen sich gut fahren. Auf Fahrstufe zwei (entspricht Paddelgeschwindigkeit) angenehme Fahrt. Akku Kapazität (80Ah) hat 6 Std. gehalten. Bei Fahrstufe fünf (normale Radfahrgeschwindigkeit) .Akku Kapazität (80Ah) hält ca. 2 Std. (wurde nur zum ausweichen verwendet). Qualität ist einfach gehalten aber ausreichend gut bei fachkundigen Handling. Fazit: Für diese Art von Einsatz stellt das Produkt den Benutzer voll zufrieden.

Use in a 4.5m long paddle boat with 2 people with luggage, total weight approx. 280 kg. 5 speed levels can be driven well. At speed level two (corresponds to paddling speed) pleasant ride. Battery capacity (80Ah) lasted 6 hours. At driving level five (normal cycling speed). Battery capacity (80Ah) lasts about 2 hours (was only used to dodge). Quality is kept simple but sufficiently good with expert handling. Conclusion: for this type of use, the product fully satisfies the user.

Der Motor mit einer 90AH Deep Cycle Batterie ist sehr gut. Bei Stufe 1 kann man locker 4 Stunden dahin gleiten mit ein schlauchboot Mariner 4 mit 2 Personen und etwas Zubehör. Die Akku Anzeige ist ein Witz und nicht zu gebrauchen. Nach der Bedienungsanleitung ist bei der Anzeige und Spannung vom Akku bei 9,7V Schluss. Bei dieser Spannung wäre der Akku mehr als tot. Auf eine Anfrage zur Anzeige beim Lieferanten habe ich nach fast einer Woche noch keine Antwort zur Anzeige bekommen. Deswegen nur 3 Sterne weil ich immer ein Messgerät mitnehmen muss um die Spannung vom Akku kontrolliere um die noch zur Verfügung stehende Kapazität zu ermitteln.

The motor with a 90AH deep cycle battery is very good. At level 1 you can easily glide along for 4 hours with an inflatable boat Mariner 4 with 2 people and some accessories. The battery indicator is a joke and useless. According to the operating instructions, the display and the voltage from the battery are at 9.7V. At this voltage, the battery would be more than dead. When I asked the supplier to report it, I still didn't get an answer to the report after almost a week. That's why only 3 stars because I always have to take a measuring device with me to check the voltage of the battery to determine the capacity that is still available.

Ich habe den Waldbeck Barracuda mit 50 lbs für mein ArtSport Schlauchboot 3,80m gekauft und ich muss sagen das ich damit bestimmt viel spass habe. Ausgepackt, angebaut, 80AH AGM Batterie angeschlossen und bis jetzt ca. 2,5 Std. Boot gefahren. Die Leistung ist schonmal gut. Nach 2,5 Std. Fahrt mit dem Boot war die Batterie noch immer bei 12.45 V. Wobei wir mit zwei Mann gefahren sind mit ca. 250 KG gewicht. Die oben auf dem Motor sitzende Batterie Anzeige änderte sich allerdings nicht. Das muss ich nochmal näher beobachten. Geschwindigkeit ist auch sehr gut. Stufe eins reicht völlig aus um gemütlich über den See zu fahren. Bei Stufe 5 ist das Boot schon recht schnell unterwegs, mit ca. 10 gefühlten km/h.

I bought the Waldbeck Barracuda with 50 lbs for my ArtSport inflatable boat 3.80m and I have to say that I definitely have a lot of fun with it. Unpacked, attached, 80AH AGM battery connected and up to now approx. 2.5 hours on the boat. The performance is good. After 2.5 hours of driving with the boat, the battery was still at 12.45 V. We drove with two men with a weight of approx. 250 kg. However, the battery indicator on top of the engine did not change. I have to take a closer look at that. Speed is also very good. Level one is enough to comfortably drive across the lake. At level 5, the boat is already moving quite fast, at what feels like about 10 km/h.

Wir sind gestern das 1.x auf dem Zeller See mit unserem neuen Elektromotor ausgefahren und sind begeistert was so ein kleiner Motor schafft. Für einen See genau der richtige Antrieb. Sehr leise. Beim 5. Gang hört man nur das Wasser plätschern, sonst nix.

Yesterday we went out on Lake Zell with our new electric motor for the first time and are amazed at what such a small motor can do. Just the right drive for a lake. Very quiet. In fifth gear you only hear the water splashing, nothing else.

Habe für mein 6 Mann Schlauchboot nach einem zweiten kleineren Elektromotor gesucht und mich für den Barracuda entschieden. Die ersten Probefahrten sowohl allein als auch mit Besatzung habe ich hinter mir und bin sehr zufrieden. Auch mit 4 weiteren Personen an Bord war die Schubkraft mehr als ausreichend und wir sind selten auf der höchsten Stufe gefahren. Geliefert wurde er in einem ca 1,40 Meter hohen Karton stehend und keinerlei nennenswerten Handgriffe waren nötig um ihn aufzubauen. Die Bordhalterung ist zwar aus Hartplastik aber stabil gegossen und verstellbar. Die Ladestandsanzeige ist aus meiner Sicht ein Muss um den Rückkehrzeitpunkt nicht zu verpassen. Alles in allem für den Preis ein Top Produkt.

I was looking for a second, smaller electric motor for my 6-person inflatable boat and decided on the Barracuda. The first test drives, both alone and with a crew, are behind me and I am very satisfied. Even with 4 other people on board, the thrust was more than sufficient and we rarely drove at the highest level. It was delivered standing in a 1.40 meter high box and no significant hand movements were required to set it up. The board mount is cast from hard plastic but stable and adjustable. From my point of view, the charge level display is a must in order not to miss the return time. All in all a top product for the price.
