[Update 23.04.2020] Mit der extra bestellten und für solche Art Tischgrills entwickelten Spezialkohle hat es nun endlich funktioniert. Wir konnten einen gemütlichen Grillabend genießen ohne uns zu ärgern. Aller guten Dinge sind eben 3. Mehr Sterne hat der Grill in unseren Augen aber auch nicht verdient: A) Wir hätten uns eine Menge Frust ersparen können, wenn die Bedienungsanleitung etwas ausführlicher gewesen wäre und man irgendwo mal einen Hinweis auf die zu verwendene Kohle gefunden hätte. B) Das man scheinbar extra eine teurere Spezialkohle bestellen muss ist natürlich auch nicht das Wahre. Hier bekommt der Grill demnächst eine vierte Chance auf den vierten Stern, indem wir es nochmal mit einer etwas günstigeren "Standard Holzkohle" versuchen. C) Die Hitzeverteilung im Grill braucht etwas Übung, um ein gleichmäßiges Grillergebniss zu erzielen. Aber alles in allem kann man damit arbeiten. [1. Rezension vom 21.04.2020] Tja was soll man sagen. Ich wollte nicht gleich 150€ für so einen Grill ausgeben und dachte mit rund 80€ von Klarstein sollte es doch auch klappen. Hätte ich mal die 70 € mehr investiert. Die ersten beiden Grillversuche waren für die Katz. Versuch 1: Mit Grillbriketts und festen Grillanzündern. Nachdem wir 30 min lang versucht haben, die Kohle zum glühen zu bringen ist das Fleisch mangels weiterer Geduld in die Pfanne gewandert. Doch woran hat es gelegen? Die Anleitung von Klarstein liefert nicht wirklich viele Details zum Betrieb. Allerdings ist hier von einem Brenngel die Rede. Also Versuch 2: Briketts und Grillanzünder in Gelform. Zunächst dachte ich: "Jo das zieht und brutzelt ordentlich. Das muss funktionieren." Doch dann war das Gel abgebrannt und der Grill wurde wieder kälter und kälter. Das Fleisch wanderte wieder in die Pfanne. Da der Grill jetzt quasi schon 2x in "Nutzung" war, denke ich nicht, dass wir ihn zurück schicken können. Wir werden ihm daher nochmal eine Chance mit normaler Holzkohle geben. Ich werde die Rezension anschließend sofort updaten, sollte ich eine Lösung für mein Problem finden und es letztlich doch einfach an einer falschen Herangehensweise liegen. Aber zum jetzigen Stand ist der Grill in meinen Augen absolut funktionsunfähig.

[Update 04/23/2020] With the special charcoal that we ordered and developed for this type of table grill, it finally worked. We were able to enjoy a cozy barbecue evening without getting annoyed. All good things come in threes. In our opinion, the grill doesn't deserve more stars: A) We could have saved ourselves a lot of frustration if the operating instructions had been a bit more detailed and if there had been a reference somewhere to the charcoal to be used. B) The fact that you apparently have to order a more expensive special charcoal is of course not the real deal either. The grill will soon get a fourth chance at the fourth star by trying again with a slightly cheaper "standard charcoal". C) The heat distribution in the grill takes a bit of practice to achieve an even grilling result. But all in all, you can work with it. [1st review from 04/21/2020] Well, what can you say. I didn't want to spend €150 on a grill like that and thought that around €80 from Klarstein would work. If only I had invested the €70 more. The first two grilling attempts were a waste of time. Attempt 1: With grill briquettes and solid grill lighters. After trying for 30 minutes to get the coals to glow, the meat ended up in the pan due to a lack of patience. But what was the problem? The instructions from Klarstein don't really provide many details on how to use it. However, they do mention a fuel gel. So attempt 2: Briquettes and grill lighters in gel form. At first I thought: "Yeah, that draws and sizzles properly. It has to work." But then the gel burned off and the grill got colder and colder again. The meat went back into the pan. Since the grill has now been "used" twice, I don't think we can send it back. We will therefore give it another chance with normal charcoal. I will update the review immediately if I find a solution to my problem and it turns out that it is simply a matter of the wrong approach. But as it stands, the grill is completely unusable in my opinion.
