Der Indoorgarten ist hüpsch anzusehen und funktioniert soweit gut. Das mit den 14 Stunden LICHT und 10 Stunden NICHT ist sehr ungenau. Bei uns geht das Licht 12 Stunden lang. ansich vielleicht kwin Problem. Das zeigt die Zukunft. Trotz allem wär es schöner wenn man die Zeit an einer Zeitschaltuhr anpassen könnte.

The indoor garden is pretty to look at and works well so far. The 14 hours of LIGHT and 10 hours NOT is very inaccurate. For us the light goes on for 12 hours. Maybe it's a problem in itself. That's what the future shows. Despite everything, it would be nicer if you could adjust the time on a timer.

Für Interessierte möchte ich hier meine Eindrücke und Testergebnisse (nutzte das Blumfeldt Urban Bamboo für die Datenerhebung meiner Masterarbeit) schildern. Zunächst gehe ich hierbei auf die Vorteile von Hydroponik ein, dann auf die positiven Aspekte dieses Produktes, anschließend schilder ich Kleinigkeiten die beim Produktdesign verbessert werden könnten und zuletzt, wie man sich das "Gärtnern" mit so einem System vorstellen kann. Hydroponik ist das Anbauen ohne Erde. Die Wurzeln der Pflanze sind somit im direkten Kontakt zu den Nährstoffen die sie benötigen und auch in der Natur bekämen, was somit eine wesentliche Vereinfachung des normalen Stoffausgleichssystems in der Erde darstellt. Es lassen sich dadurch (mit etwas Erfahrung und einem effizienten Systemdesign) erhebliche Mengen an Wasser, Nährstoffen und Pestiziden einsparen, bei gleichzeitig erhöhtem Wachstum und vollem Geschmack, indem die Pflanzen genau das bekommen, was sie benötigen. Das Blumfeldt Urban Bamboo macht prinzipiell seine Arbeit gut: - Die Pumpe ist gut positioniert und dimensioniert, sodass ausreichend Sauerstoff in die Nährlösung und zu den Wurzeln gelangt. Außerdem ist sie sehr leise und mit Schaumstoff vor direktem Eindringen von Ablagerungen und abgerissenen Wurzeln geschützt und für Reinigungszwecke einfach herauszunehmen. - Das Design ist ansprechend und man kann das System auch gut im Wohnzimmer oder Küche platzieren – es macht schon etwas her - Das auch von Konkurrenten benutzte System mit Kokoplugs als Substrat funktioniert auch hier vom Keimen bis zur heranwachsenden Pflanze gut und liefert ausreichend Haltemöglichkeit für einen sicheren Stand. Hier aber die Kritikpunkte, die zugegebenermaßen auf hohem Niveau sind: - Die Wassergeräusche nehmen mit sich leerendem Reservoir zu (bis zur Lautstärke eines normalen Aquariums), was zwar nur logisch ist, aber je nach Situation und Raum störend sein kann. Versucht man die Lautstärke der Wassergeräusche zu umgehen, indem man das Reservoir versucht voll zu halten, so sind die Kokoplugs zu weit eingetaucht, sodass diese vollkommen durchnässt sind. Dies hat keine sofortigen Auswirkungen solange die Pumpe fleißig den Sauerstoffgehalt gewährleistet, aber kann bei länger lebenden Pflanzen (zB. Erdbeeren oder Tomaten) Krankheiten fördern. - Die Decke mit eingepassten LEDs ist ziemlich tief und ist nicht verstellbar. Somit ist die Höhe und damit die Pflanzensorten (wenn nicht nur zum Anzüchten und späterem Aussetzen gedacht) auf sehr kurzwüchsige Sorten begrenzt. - Ebenso sind die vorgesehenen Steckplätze sehr eng zueinander positioniert. Dadurch eignet sich das System gut für Kräuter, bei größeren Pflanzen wie Salat und co. können aber nicht alle Steckplätze verwendet werden. - Zudem liefern die integrierten LEDs nicht genügend Energie alleine - die doppelte Leistung wäre wünschenswert. So sollte auf jeden Fall ein Ort gewählt werden, bei welchem zumindest etwas Sonnenlicht zusätzlich hingelangen kann. Ich vermisse außerdem einen Timer, mit welchem man die Beleuchtungszeiten einstellen kann - der festgelegte 14/10 Stunden-Rhythmus ist nicht immer passend. Nun zu dem was einen für den Betrieb eines Blumfeldt Urban Bamboo und vergleichbare Konkurrenzprodukte erwartet: Hat man eine Düngermischung gefunden mit der man zufrieden ist (ich nutze die ADV Nutrients - pH Perfect Pack (Grow, Micro, Bloom) von Avanced Nutrients), dann hält sich der Aufwand in Grenzen. Man schaut ca alle 3 Tage nach dem rechten (also ob die Pflanzen gesund aussehen, ob Befälle zu erkennen sind, ob die Wurzeln schön weiß sind und ob der pH- und Leitwert der Nährstofflösung passen), wobei ich nur ca. wöchentlich die Nährstofflösung anpasse und jede zweite Woche dabei komplett austausche und auch alles putze. Zu empfehlen sind auf jeden Fall pH- und EC-Messgeräte, sodass ihr die Alkalinität zwischen 5,5 und 7 haltet und den Leitwert zwischen 1,2 und 2,5. Je nach Witterungsbedingungen könnt ihr hierbei mit diesen Messgeräten "beobachten", wie eure Pflanzen wachsen, indem sich die Werte über den Tag hinweg zyklisch ändern. Es ist daher auch zu empfehlen euer System jeweils zu gleicher Tageszeit auf eine gute Nährlösung zu überprüfen, um möglichst gleiche Bedingungen zu gewährleisten. Insgesamt macht das Ganze echt Spaß und man hat schnell große Erfolge! Und die eigene Ernte schmeckt halt einfach am besten ;-) Kleiner Tipp noch zum Keimen: Gut sind hier eine schwache Nährlösung (EC zwischen 0,7 und 1,2) und warm-feuchte Bedingungen. Am besten daher bei er Heizung mit Decke drüber platzieren. Sobald ihr die ersten Keimblätter seht (normal nach ca 6-10 Tagen), könnte ihr das Blumfeldt umplatzieren und losgärtnern. Hoffe ich konnte euch ein einigermaßen grobes Bild geben – wenn ihr Fragen habt schreibt einfach.

For those interested, I would like to describe my impressions and test results (used the Blumfeldt Urban Bamboo to collect data for my master's thesis). First I'll look at the advantages of hydroponics, then I'll look at the positive aspects of this product, then I'll describe little things that could be improved in the product design and finally how you can imagine "gardening" with such a system. Hydroponics is growing without soil. The roots of the plant are therefore in direct contact with the nutrients they need and would get in nature, which represents a significant simplification of the normal material balance system in the earth. It is possible (with a little experience and efficient system design) to save significant amounts of water, nutrients and pesticides, while at the same time increasing growth and full flavor by giving the plants exactly what they need. The Blumfeldt Urban Bamboo basically does its job well: - The pump is well positioned and sized so that enough oxygen gets into the nutrient solution and to the roots. It is also very quiet and is protected by foam from direct penetration of deposits and torn roots and is easy to remove for cleaning purposes. - The design is attractive and you can also place the system in the living room or kitchen - it looks quite nice - The system with coconut plugs as a substrate, which is also used by competitors, also works well here from germination to the growing plant and provides enough holding space for you secure footing. But here are the criticisms, which are admittedly at a high level: - The water noise increases as the reservoir empties (up to the volume of a normal aquarium), which is only logical, but can be annoying depending on the situation and room. If you try to avoid the loudness of the water noise by trying to keep the reservoir full, the coconut plugs are submerged too far and are completely soaked. This has no immediate effect as long as the pump is diligent in ensuring oxygen levels, but can promote disease in longer-lived plants (e.g. strawberries or tomatoes). - The ceiling with fitted LEDs is quite deep and is not adjustable. This means that the height and thus the plant varieties (if not just intended for cultivation and later release) are limited to very short-growing varieties. - The slots provided are also positioned very close to one another. This makes the system well suited for herbs, larger plants such as lettuce and the like. However, not all slots can be used. - In addition, the integrated LEDs do not provide enough energy on their own - twice the output would be desirable. You should definitely choose a place where at least some additional sunlight can reach. I also miss a timer with which you can set the lighting times - the set 14/10 hour rhythm is not always appropriate. Now to what you can expect when operating a Blumfeldt Urban Bamboo and comparable competing products: Once you have found a fertilizer mixture that you are satisfied with (I use the ADV Nutrients - pH Perfect Pack (Grow, Micro, Bloom) from Advanced Nutrients), then the effort is limited. You check everything about every 3 days (i.e. whether the plants look healthy, whether there are any signs of infestation, whether the roots are nice and white and whether the pH and conductivity of the nutrient solution are correct), although I only adjust the nutrient solution about weekly and every other week I completely replace it and clean everything. We definitely recommend pH and EC measuring devices so that you keep the alkalinity between 5.5 and 7 and the conductivity between 1.2 and 2.5. Depending on the weather conditions, you can use these measuring devices to “observe” how your plants are growing as the values change cyclically throughout the day. It is therefore also recommended to check your system for a good nutrient solution at the same time of day to ensure the same conditions as possible. Overall, the whole thing is really fun and you quickly achieve great success! And your own harvest simply tastes best ;-) A little tip for germinating: a weak nutrient solution (EC between 0.7 and 1.2) and warm, moist conditions are good here. It is therefore best to place a blanket over the heater. As soon as you see the first cotyledons (normally after about 6-10 days), you can move the flower pot and start gardening. Ich habe etwas gesucht um Indoor etwas anbauen zu können, da ich das einfach eine sehr saubere Lösung finde im Gegensatz zu draussen. Zudem sollte ich damit sehr wenig Arbeit haben mit giessen und ähnlichem. Ich habe mich nach etwas Recherche für diesen Artikel entschieden. Der Artikel kam gut verpackt an. Beim Auspacken etwas aufpassen, dass man sich keinen Bambussplitter in den Finger einfängt. Nach kurzer Aufbauzeit noch die Pumpe angeschlossen, Wasser rein und schon kann gepflanzt werden. Natürlich benötigt man noch eine Nährlösung. Salat und Tomaten wachsen einwandfrei. Basilikum mag nicht, eventuell ist es ihm zu feucht. Den Salat habe ich bereits geerntet und es war eine ganze Schüssel voll für 2 Personen ausreichend. Ich bin sehr begeistert von dem Artikel und kann diesen weiterempfehlen. Eine kleine Sache stört mich allerdings: Die Zeitschaltuhr für das Licht arbeitet sehr ungenau. Normalerweise ist das Licht immer für 14 Stunden an und dann aus und sollte eigentlich um die gleiche Zeit am nächsten Tag wieder an und auch wieder aus gehen, das funktioniert aber absolut gar nicht. Die Zeit verschiebt sich jeden Tag etwas weiter nach vorne, also ich habe es so eingestellt das es um 8 Uhr morgens angehen sollte, nächster Tag war es schon 7:45, dann 7:15, dann 6:30, irgendwann ging es nachts um 4 an was dann einen Reset zur Folge hatte indem man es ausschaltet und zur gewünschten Zeit am morgen dann wieder ein. Danach geht das Spiel von vorne los. Hier sollte in einer Version 2 dringend nachgebessert werden. Ansonsten aber wie gesagt 4 Sterne.

Normally the light is always on for 14 hours and then off and should actually go on and off again at the same time the next day, but that doesn't work at all. The time shifts a little further forward every day, so I set it so that it should start at 8 a.m., the next day it was already 7:45, then 7:15, then 6:30, at some point it turned into the night 4 on which then resulted in a reset by turning it off and then turning it on again at the desired time in the morning. Then the game starts again. This should urgently be improved in version 2. Otherwise, as I said, 4 stars.

Es werden eine ganze Reihe dieser Hydroponikgeräte angeboten, dieses zeichnet sich nicht nur durch volle Funktionalität aus, sondern auch durch seine schönes Aussehen. Es ist dabei nicht wesentlich teurer. Leider werden m.W. (noch) keine Ersatzteile angeboten.

Basilikum und Salat wurden im ersten Anlauf etwas, Petersilie 50%. Pumpe und Lichtschaltung funktionieren nach ein paar Mal Zurücksetzen momentan gut. Auf den Schwämmen sammelt sich sehr viel Schimmel, kann aber auch an zu hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum liegen. Kann man aber leicht abkratzen. Schönes Design. PS: Vorsicht vor wärmeverliebten Katzen, die machen einem ganz schnell die Sprösslinge platt ;)

Basil and lettuce were a little at the first attempt, parsley 50%. The pump and light switch are currently working well after resetting them a few times. A lot of mold collects on the sponges, but this can also be due to excessive humidity in the room. But it can be easily scraped off. Beautiful design. PS: Be careful of heat-loving cats, they'll quickly kill your offspring ;)

Da ich gerne aus Kräutern Tinkturen für Salben oder sonstiges herstelle, und auch für das Kochen selber ziehe, war eine Anzuchtstation eine Must-Have-Anschaffung für mich. Ich wollte jedoch gerne eine schöne haben, die sich gut im Wohnzimmer platzieren lässt. Ohne den typischen Plastik-Look. Der Indoorgarten hat eine praktische Funktion: Wenn man oben den Schalter betätigt geht nur das Licht aus, das Wasser wird aber weiter gepumpt. Das Wasser stelle ich über einen An-Aus-Schalter an der Steckdose an und aus. Hin und wieder stelle ich auch den unteren Teil weg und stelle meine Ananas und meine Kaffee-Pflanze drunter, damit diese mehr Licht im Winter abbekommen. Die Station hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt und ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Since I like to make tinctures from herbs for ointments or other things, and also grow them myself for cooking, a growing station was a must-have purchase for me. However, I wanted to have a nice one that could be placed well in the living room. Without the typical plastic look. The indoor garden has a practical function: If you press the switch at the top, only the light goes off, but the water continues to be pumped. Grundsätzlich ist das ja sehr schön, doch es fehlte die Pumpe, die mir auch nicht nach geschickt wurde. Ich bekam dafür eine 10€ Gutschrift. Allerdings läuft durch die fehlende Pumpe nicht alles so wie es soll. Dennoch ist es ein sehr schönes Möbel mit dem Gestell aus Bambus. Die Licht an und Ausschaltautomatik läuft einwandfrei. Sollte sich noch was ergeben werde ich hier weiter berichten. Ein Zwischenbericht: Die Samen keimen zwar doch es dauert nicht lange und sie gehen ein und faulen weg. habe das ganze jetzt mit Aerogarden Zubehör bestückt. Das geht etwas besser doch auch nicht so wie in den Aerogarden. Kann natürlich auch an den Samen liegen. Das will ich nicht ausschließen. Ich werde weiter testen und dann berichten. Die fehlende Pumpe ist allerdings ein großes Manko da durch den extra gekauften Filter der Deckel der schale nicht richtig aufliegt. 15.1. 2019: Ein erneutes Update: Nach mehreren Anäufen und einem richtigen Filter, mit der Aerogardenbestückung, sprießen endlich die ersten Pflanzen. Siehe Bild ( wenn es hochläd).Es hat wirklich lange gedauert.

Basically it's very nice, but the pump was missing and wasn't sent to me either. I received a €10 credit for this. However, due to the lack of a pump, not everything works as it should. Nevertheless, it is a very beautiful piece of furniture with the bamboo frame. The automatic light on and off function works perfectly. If anything else comes up, I will report further here. An interim report: The seeds germinate, but it doesn't take long before they die and rot away. I have now equipped the whole thing with Aerogarden accessories. It's a little better, but not as good as in the Aerogarden. Of course it could also be due to the seeds. I don't want to rule that out. I'll continue testing and then report back. However, the lack of a pump is a major drawback because the lid of the bowl does not fit properly due to the specially purchased filter. 15.1. 2019: Another update: After several attempts and a proper filter with the Aerogarden equipment, the first plants are finally sprouting. Ich finde das System super. Aufbau ist einfach und die Optik ist sehr schön. Die Automatik funktioniert perfekt und und nimmt viel Arbeit ab. Die Pumpe ist nicht zu laut und die ersten Samen fangen schon an zu sprießen. Freue mich schon auf die erste Ernte und kann den Kauf nur Jedem empfehlen

I think the system is great. Construction is easy and the look is very nice. The automatic system works perfectly and takes a lot of work off of it. The pump is not too loud and the first seeds are already starting to sprout. I'm already looking forward to the first harvest and can only recommend buying it to everyone
