To turn fresh, hot mash into a good beer, it is necessary to cool it as quickly as possible. This is ensured by the Klarstein upward spiral cooling coil. The 25.5 cm diameter stainless steel spiral with 10 cooling loops is immersed in the hot mash immediately, thus removing the heat in no time - this not only prevents the occurrence of unwanted microbes, but also helps to separate unwanted elements from the future beer. 25 litres of boiling mash are cooled to room temperature within 30 minutes. Thanks to the stainless steel construction, the immersion cooler is completely taste-neutral, does not rust and can be cleaned very easily.
Even better cooling results are achieved by the hollow spiral when it is integrated into a cooling circuit. Thanks to an internal diameter of 7.25 mm, cold water can be pumped through the spiral and the heat is able to be withdrawn from the mash even faster.

Ein Kühler wie dieser sind für das Bierbrauen unerlässlich. Wir haben einen Royal Catering 30 l Braukessel im Einsatz. Der wird unter anderem Namen von Klarstein unter den Namen Mundschenk vertrieben. Der Durchmesser des Kühlers beträgt 26 cm. Als Wasseranschluss haben wir einen 1/2 Zoll Schlauch mit Gardena Schnellkuplung ausgerüstet. Das klappt gut. Man bekommt 25 Liter Bier in 30 Minuten heruntergekühlt. Dabei ziehen wir das Wasser im Kreis aus der Regenwassertonne und pumpen es wieder zurück. Das klappt im Sommer gut und spart Wasser. Die Verarbeitung ist gut, da gibt es nichts zu klagen.

The diameter of the cooler is 26 cm. As a water connection, we have equipped a 1/2 inch hose with a Gardena quick coupling. That works fine. You get 25 liters of beer chilled in 30 minutes. We pull the water out of the rainwater barrel in a circle and pump it back again. This works well in summer and saves water. The workmanship is good, there is nothing to complain about.

Der Würzekühler ist recht günstig, aber auch nur mäßig effektiv. Er kühlt für meinen Geschmack etwas zu langsam - was aber einfach an der zu geringen Länge liegen mag. Er passt in den Mundschenk 30L.
The wort cooler is quite cheap, but only moderately effective. It cools a bit too slowly for my taste - which may simply be due to the short length. It fits into the cupbearer 30L.
