Wir haben diese Woche unsere neue Inselhaube von Klarstein bekommen. Als wir die Verpackung geöffnet haben waren wir erst einmal davon begeistert, wie sauber uns geschützt alles verpackt war. Als wir dann alles ausgepackt hatten, mussten wir leider feststellen, das man es mit dem Schutz auch übertreiben kann. Alle Edelstahlteile sind mit einer Schutzfolie überzogen. Allerdings hat man die Schutzfolie vor dem Falzen nicht entfernt, sodass man sehr lange damit beschäftigt ist, bis man die Folie komplett entfernt hat. Auch bei der Abzugseinheit, ist die Folie bis unter die Glasscheibe und unter die Lampen gezogen. Das die Folie bis unter der Glasscheibe ist, haben wir leider erst festgestellt, als die Inselhaube schon komplett hing. Die Glasscheibe kann man zwar einfach lösen, in dem man die 4 Schrauben entfernt, allerdings war sie etwas auf Spannung, wodurch von der schwarzen Dimmung etwas abgeplatzt ist und bei anheben der Platte, haben wir uns auch ein wenig den Abzugsschlot zerkratzt. Auch wenn die Inselhaube mit einem Preis von 300 Euro recht günstig ist, hätte ich hier schon etwas mehr erwartet. Auch muss ich sagen das der Motor doch recht laut ist und ich in Sachen Lautstärke zwischen Stufe 1 und 3 eigentlich keinen richtigen Unterschied hören kann. Ich hoffe das dies NICHT bedeutet, dass zwar verschiedene Geschwindigkeiten angezeigt, aber der Motor immer mit gleicher Geschwindigkeit dreht. Ich denke aber, das sich dies in den kommenden Tagen bei der Benutzung zeigen wird. ich habe mal einige Bilder gemacht, damit man sehen kann, von was ich rede wenn ich die Sache mit der Schutzfolie bemängel. Alles in allem bekommt man für 300 Euro eine optisch ansprechende Inselhaube, die in Sachen Qualität und Verarbeitung aber nicht mit Inselhauben in der Preisklasse von 1.000 Euro vergleichbar ist.

We received our new island hood from Klarstein this week. When we opened the packaging, we were amazed at how cleanly everything was packed and protected. When we unpacked everything, we unfortunately had to realize that you can overdo it with the protection. All stainless steel parts are covered with a protective film. However, the protective film was not removed before folding, so it takes a long time to completely remove the film. The foil is also pulled under the glass pane and under the lamps in the extraction unit. Unfortunately, we only found out that the foil is under the glass pane when the island hood was already completely hanging. The glass pane can be easily removed by removing the 4 screws, but it was a little under tension, which caused the black dimming to flake off and when we lifted the plate, we also scratched the vent a little. Even if the island hood is quite cheap at a price of 300 euros, I would have expected a little more here. I also have to say that the motor is quite loud and I can't really hear any real difference in terms of volume between level 1 and 3. I hope this does NOT mean that although different speeds are displayed, the motor always rotates at the same speed. But I think that this will show up in use in the coming days. I took some pictures so you can see what I'm talking about when I complain about the protective film. All in all, you get a visually appealing island hood for 300 euros, which is not comparable to island hoods in the price range of 1,000 euros in terms of quality and workmanship.
