The beamZ DMX USB interface sets new standards for particularly impressive and easy to execute light shows. Operation is carried conveniently via USB connection via PC, laptop or tablet. PCs and laptops can be equipped with the free ESA2 (Easy Stand Alone 2) BeamZ Edition software, while tablets can use the Light Rider BeamZ Edition software. The standard delivery includes 128 channels for live and PC use, whereby the channels can be expanded to 512 for a fee at www.dmxsoft.com. For stand-alone applications, however, there are 12 channels available, which can also be expanded to 512 channels for a fee. The software is suitable for use with both Windows and Mac OS operating systems.

Für mich war dieses Interface ein Fehlkauf ich hab es deshalb zurückgeschickt. Laut Artikelbeschreibung sollte unter andere die Software Lizenz für Light Rider enthalten sein, diese ist aber nur Als 30 Tage Testversion dabei. Ich habe mal ein Screenshot von der Entsprechenden Produktinformationsseite bei dmxsoft als Foto zu meiner Rezession hinzugefügt das gehört eigentlich in die Produktbeschreibung. Die Bezeichnung der Software als "BeamZ Edition Software" ist ebenfalls verwirrend, weil die Version laut Hersteller als Express Version bezeichnet wird, das heißt manche Funktionen stehen nicht zur Verfügung. Wichtig währe auch das dieses Interface nicht an Apple Tablets funktioniert, weil es per USB Kabel an das Tablet angeschlossen werden muss und das geht nur bei Android Geräten. Light Rider wäre also nur mit Android nutzbar. Ansonsten würde das Interface bestimmt gut Funktionieren und hätte mehr Sterne verdient. Ich werde als nächstes die Version mit WiFi kaufen ich denke das ist das richtige für mich.
For me, this interface was a bad buy, so I sent it back. According to the item description, the software license for Light Rider should be included, but this is only included as a 30-day trial version. I once added a screenshot of the corresponding product information page at dmxsoft as a photo to my recession that actually belongs in the product description. The designation of the software as "BeamZ Edition Software" is also confusing, because according to the manufacturer the version is called the Express Version, which means that some functions are not available. It is also important that this interface does not work on Apple tablets, because it has to be connected to the tablet via USB cable and that only works on Android devices. So Light Rider would only be usable with Android. Otherwise the interface would definitely work well and deserve more stars. I will buy the version with WiFi next I think this is right for me.
