Five different operating modes, an eight-stage adjustable sensitivity and variable discrimination between ferrous and precious metals allow for a targeted search for hidden treasures and help you filter out the junk. Depending on the size of the object, the device achieves a search depth of about 20cm for small objects such as coins and up to 2 metres deep for larger objects. The coin depth scale facilitates determining the depth of the found object, while the target object display shows information about its material properties - so you always know exactly how deep you have to dig and whether it’s worth the effort.

Many sophisticated functions such as built-in speakers with audible beep and headphone port make the device not only easy to use, but also guarantee lots of fun in the search - even when you are first on the search. With its waterproof search coil, the metal detector can be used on beaches, shores or in poor weather conditions without any problems. The LCD display has a small sunshade at the top, making it easy to read even on sunny days. The supplied protective hood protects the display in poor weather conditions.

Thanks to its ergonomic design with padded armrest and foam handle, the Dr. Jones metal detector offers high comfort even over long periods of use. The S-shaped rod is easily adjusted to the user’s arm length via a spring clamp mechanism. The construction with detachable parts is set up in no time and easily dismantled. After a successful search, the metal detector and its accessories find their place in the supplied transport backpack.
