How can I place an order?

Items you wish to purchase can be added to your basket by clicking the “add to basket” icon. After adding the item(s) you wish to purchase to your basket, you can click on the "Checkout" symbol and select the payment method.

Can I cancel my order?

If the order has not been shipped, it is still possible to cancel the order. Simply log into your account, go to order field and click cancel.

Please note: All cancellation requests via e mail have at least a 24 hour response time. As most orders are generally dispatched within 24 hours of payment being received, should you wish us to the cancel the order, or should you have issues cancelling the order, it is strongly recommended that you contact us via our telephone service hotline to complete the request.

What should I consider when ordering?

Please make sure that your delivery and billing addresses are correct at the time of placing the order. An incorrect address can delay delivery time. For orders delivered with our specialist couriers, a telephone number is required. Dispatch will only be made upon receiving full payment, or confirmation of payment via third parties (PayPal, Bill safe, etc.). For orders where the selected payment method is cash on delivery, additional costs will be incurred.

What information is needed from me to place an order?

We require an email address for all orders made on our webshop. This is required so that we can send you order, payment and shipment confirmations as well as send invoices.

Please note: While not required on all orders, a phone number is also strongly recommended. The number will NOT be used for any third party purposes. It will only be used for communications pertaining to your order.

Has my order been shipped?

Once the order has been dispatched, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with a link to the tracking for the shipment. Credit Card

With debit/credit card payments, enter your 16 digit number into the payment page, as well as the validity date and the 3 digit security code. This will be debited from your account via the 3rd party system of Skrill, of which, they will send a payment confirmation to you. For orders over €300, a copy or screenshot of valid photo ID of the card holder is required.

Cash in advance - Paying with prepayment

After placing the order, you'll receive a confirmation email with the necessary details for the bank transfer.
As soon as your payment reaches us, we will start processing your order. Depending on your bank, it may take 2-4 working days until your payment reaches us. The products you have ordered will be reserved for you for a maximum of 7 days.

How can I redeem a voucher?

The redemption of a voucher for our webshop is already possible directly in the shopping cart as well as in all following steps of the checkout. After entering the coupon code, confirm it by clicking the "Redeem" button.

The delivery time is normally dependent on the shipping service.

Can I arrange for the package to be delivered to a collection station?

In order for the package to be sent to a packing station, shipment dimensions must be between 15x11x1 cm and 60x35x35 cm.

The order arrived damaged. What do I do now?

We advise you to always check the packaging for any external damage upon reciept of delivery. If you discover damage to the product upon opening, please contact us immediately and if possible, please keep photos of the damage for both yours and our records.

I only received part of my order. What now?

We advise that you first check the tracking number as this will always update accordingly. Sometimes, our couriers will ship the items in different packages for logistical reasons. If this is not the case, please contact our customer service.

A guarantee is always a voluntary additional service of the manufacturer. As a seller, we have basically no guarantee on the products we sell. To safeguard warranty claims, the request should be sent directly to the manufacturer.

What is warranty, and what rights do I have?

Warranty is the statutory obligation of the seller to amend within two years after delivery of any defects on a device or to replace it . In this context, the burden of proof according to §476 BGB is to be noted that is the purchaser after a period of six months in the obligation to prove that the defect already existed at the time of purchase.

All products sold from Hifi Tower are sold as new and are covered by a 2 year warranty from your date of purchase.

Can I connect a laptop to a PA system?

Yes , the best connection between your PA system and your laptop is via a mixer/audio splitter cable. The mixer allows you more control over the sound.

What is the difference between and active and passive speaker?

An active speaker has an amplifier integrated into the system, where as a passive speaker requires an external amplifier in order to power it.

Can I connect more than 2 PA speakers to a PA amplifier?

While this is possible, please use the same speakers and pay attention to the impedance and wattage of the speakers and connect the speaker to only one channel per amp.

Can I connect multiple speakers and a subwoofer to the same PA amplifier?

We do not recommend connecting different speaker types to an amplifier . The subwoofer reproduces just the bass frequencies . You need an additional filter for removing the medium and high frequencies.
We strongly encourage you to use additional amplifiers with an active crossover.

Why do I need a mixer?

When working with live music, a mixer is absolutely essential! To achieve the best possible sound with two or more instruments, a mixer will help ensure that each instruments frequencies do not overlap or clash and also help minimise distortion.

How much power do my speakers and amplifier need for my venue?

Of course, there are many other factors to note. For example, the room size to be taken into account, the type of event, if the event is inside or outside and the genre of music being played.

Can I connect an iPod to a USB port on my stereo system?

Apple devices are for synchronization via a USB cable and not for transmitting music. You can connect your device to a HiFi system via an 3.5mm to RCA cable.

Does the docking station work with my iPhone or iPod Touch?

There are different types of plugs for speaker systems. Such as RCA or speaker cables (sometimes known as banana plugs) for smaller systems . In a more professional system, it is more likely that XLR or Speakon are used. These types of connectors are available in a male and female version.

What are the types of speaker connections?

The signal from turntable is too weak to use on it's own, meaning a pre-amp is required in order to boost the signal. If no pre-amp or phono input is available on the device, the AUX input can be used.

Can I connect my turntable to a amplifier?

The signal in a turntable is usually so weak, that will have to be amplified first. In this case you need a preamplifier. If there is no preamplifier in the device, connect to an external via the phono input.

Is there a limit to the amount of memory I can have on my USB stick/SD card in order to use it with my stereo or hifi system?

In general, memory of up to 16GB is no problem . At higher amounts, it may happen that the playback speed suffers. In this case, the sound will begin to stutter and the data will take longer to load.

What equipment do I need to achieve surround sound?

You need a signal source (DVD player, sound card) with a 5.1 audio output or a respective terminal for each speaker and subwoofer.
As an alternative you can get surround sound when connecting the 5.1 system to an amplifier with multi-channel connections.

How do I connect a 5.1 sound system to my television?

You must connect your 5.1 system to an AV surround receiver with multiple HDMI inputs and outputs.

Can I connect my laptop to a 5.1 surround sound system?

If no 5.1 surround sound outputs are available , you will need an external sound card with these outputs.

How do I get 5.1 surround sound from my PS4 or Xbox One?

You connect your 5.1 system to an AV surround receiver with multiple HDMI inputs and the Console is using an HDMI, with the input on the AV receiver connected to the TV or projector with an HDMI.

Which types of projectors are there?

There are many different types of projectors . These differ in the resolution of the image, sound, width, contrast and the position in which the projector needs to be aligned. As a result, there are projectors that are used primarily for business and others that are better for home theater use.

Which projector is right for me?

This entirely depends on the intended use of the beamer . If the intended use is for gaming purposes, A projector with a clock rate of 480Hz is required. If the device is used more for business , you need a projector with a wide-angle capability.

  • DLP Projectors: provides fast movements due to a shorter reaction time is better.
  • LCD Projectors: provide better readability by pixel definition.
  • LED Projectors: only usable in darkened rooms, up to max. 1.50 m screen size.

Is there an extended cooling off period during the Christmas season?

Yes, all purchases made from the 1st of Novermber have an extended cooling off period until the 31st of January.
