Seul défaut pour moi: je trouve le talon pas assez important (mais c'est moi) : on ne peut pas vraiment mettre la lame abaissée jusqu'au talon (sur sa planche à découper par exemple) tout en gardant des doigts sous le manche. Il faut prendre des couteaux plus longs pour avoir ça...

Amazing: cuts really well. Well balanced. Good weight. Good guard for a good grip. It's really good and I use it for everything. Only flaw for me: I find the heel not big enough (but that's me): you can't really put the blade down to the heel (on your cutting board for example) while keeping your fingers under the handle. You have to get longer knives to get that...

Absolutely love this knife. Shave-sharp out of the box, very comfortable handle and a very nimble blade for its size. I would love zelite to make some more Japanese style knives in this range, a deba would be great!

Product which in my opinion is not worth its price, the handle is ergonomic but the blade is of standard quality without more, objectively being an amateur cook, I attach a lot of importance to my tools, and this knife will not remain in the annals of my best deals Dalstrong does better at an equivalent price.....

I think I'm going to buy all the others because even if the price seemed a little high at first, I realize that the quality and the sharpness (which doesn't dull!) of this product is actually very largely justified. The single piece of high quality steel affords this a lifetime in the kitchen, sharp and nice to use on a variety of food preparation. Best to wash by hand as the handle bleaches a bit in the dishwasher - but a bit of olive oil rejuvenates it’s original look.

This wins for most, only downside is the royal series seems sharper, having said that I was using a 4” vs a 9” so obviously weight etc is different. Going to get a 4” comfort pro this weekend to compare better, also buying one for my brothers birthday because he lives the look of them.

This knife has sat in my wishlist for a while and every so often I'd put it into my basket, only to feel guilty about spending almost £50 on a knife, and would swiftly place it back into my wishlist again. But good old Christmas rolls around and my family kindly got me some Amazon vouchers, so I took the plunge and put it into my basket.....again....but this time I actually bought it. And oh boy am I glad I did! Where has this knife been all my life?....oh I know....in my wishlist! Doh! This knife is truly incredible. It comes in a lovely presentation box with red velvet and aesthetically, it is a beautifully designed knife . This is a weighty knife but feels incredibly balanced in the hand (I'm a leftie....just in case this is relevant in some way, lol). I make my own homemade bread almost every day and my 14 year old bread knife was just not cutting it....excuse the pun! My bread is a crusty sourdough so its beautifully crisp and crusty when fresh....but is a bugger to cut with my old knife. I didn't realise just how bad it was until I got this knife. I've managed to cut my crusty bread with literally one fell swoop/cut of this knife...no need for breaking a sweat because of erratic sawing motions like my old knife induced! It's amazing. You barely need to apply any pressure when cutting which means less chance of the knife slipping and causing an injury. It's a heavy knife but not uncomfortable to use at all and the weight feels perfectly balanced. I'm 100% delighted with it and so happy that I finally bought it. My old one has trundled off to recycling....never to tear and break another loaf again! The only issue I have is, that it doesn't come with a cover or sheath, so at the moment I'm placing it back into the box for storage which isn't an ideal storage place as the box is big....but I'll get something for it sorted soon, even should I have to make some sort of sheath for it myself. I'd definitely recommend this knife. Don't be like me and move it from your wishlist to your basket and then back again at least once a week for over a year. Just go for it....you'll be glad you did.

Another exellent quality knife from Zelite. Lovely to hold and well ballanced. Although the blade is 10" long, the way it is ground it fits nicely on my 8" manetic knife block. It is not as sharp as I expected it to be hence only 4 stars. Well boxed and packaged, this would be an excellent gift on any occasion.

Knife arrived in a well made presentation box, giving how sharp it is I will be storing it n the box until ready for use, very well made and considering how long the blade is it’s very light and well balanced and the grip is comfortable and solid. So far only tested on slicing an onion but glided through with no effort producing very thin even slices, far better than my £20 knife of another brand.

As soon as we opened the parcel, we knew this was quality. The packaging, sign writing on the box etc all looked highly professional and as if someone cared about what they were providing. The knife itself is excellent, it's heavy and good quality and cuts extremely well. Very happy with it.

This is a very handsome Kiritsuke at an amazing price. It's perfect for students to begin with before they graduate to a Japanese Kiritsuke. The metallurgy is high-class German hygienic and durable. The Logo and etching is very handsome too. The Family manufacturers are justly proud of this product. The presentation case is amazing and environmentally friendly. I really enjoy using my Kiritsuke for fine vegetable work in the Japanese style, and for wider culinary knife tasks. Thanks

This knife is for sure consistent quality, but after few use stop to work as it must, I had to sharp little but I scare if I gonna scratch the blade with any stone.

Bought this Japanese style 9" chefs knife. Supplier dispatched promptly and the item arrived as specified. Packaged in a beautiful display/storage case. The knive is perfectly sharp, that is, sharp enough to make working with meat and vegetables a sinch but not overly sharp so the cutting edge is less durable. Very good all rounder chefs knive, well balanced although the 9" blade is a little longer than I am used to, it feels versatile and of the highest quality fabrication and materials. I have always used a 8" chefs knife for all cooking prep so I thought I would be the same for this 9" knife, but I have to admit that I have also purchased the 6" Zelite Comfort-Pro Series as well, which I also recomend highly and this will be used more frequently. However, that being said this chefs knife is far superior to any knife I have used before and I have used professional grade knives in previous jobs as a commie chef and as a fishmonger. I waited 2 weeks before actually using my new knife - huge mistake! I opened the box yesterday whilst prepping for a large family barbecue - wow. I cook a lot and have always invested in good knives but my new Zelite was perfectly balanced, well weighted and effortlessly cut everything despite being cheaper than my usual brand. I was so impressed I purchased 2 more last night ( upgrading to the Executive Pro this time with leather sheaths - these knives are seriously sharp...) and will be adding to my collection over the next few months. I think that is probably the best endorsement a customer could give :-) Excellent, personal service too from this British family business - 5 stars!

This is a beautiful quality knife at this price point. Bought to replace an old supermarket bread knife and can’t really believe the difference. So sharp that it will slice a French stick with no downward pressure using only its weight. Will be looking out for Zelite when replacing a couple of other knives that are a bit tired.

The is the Japanese all rounder knife. The quality is outstanding. It feels a very balanced knife in your hand. Be careful as it's extremely sharp. This is a great addition to my kitchen as it's a versatile chefs knife.

A well made knife although some what on the heavy side, also the edge is does not feel very sharp to the touch , however it does cut fresh backed bread quite cleanly. I have only given it 4 stars as at the price it should come with a blade guard for everyday use, instead of the very fancy box

Excellent bread knife that I use to cut artisan made bread that can be tough to cut without making a mess. A very sharp knife is a safer tool to use than a blunt one and the Zelite Infinity is definitively sharp, with good balance and a hansome knife to look at. The presentation case the knife comes in would make an ideal wedding present.

I ordered four Zelite Knives after reading many glowing reviews. I found these to be exceptional, extremely good quality, well made,well balanced and very sharp. All knives came in good quality boxes with magnetic clasp to store them in. I would highly recommend these knives. 10/10

This is a monster of a bread knife, I haven't used it as it is a present for a relative, but it looks high quality and will munch through thick crusts, fingers etc. Would like the full set if i could afford them!

This knife is absolutely wonderful as sharp as a razor cuts my bread brilliant would highly recommend this knife to anyone wanting a breadknife . Very comfortable to hold I just love it . Best knife I have ever purchased .

Excellent! This extra length bread knife is of sensational quality if only judged by initial appearance and a few trial cuts on fresh 'artisan' loaves where it was simply wonderful!. I expect this knife will be exceedingly good at carving joints, also dividing and slicing large vegetables such as swedes,turnips etc., where the extra length safely spans the items being cut.
