IR-130 Internet Radio wifi streaming full-range speaker black

The Auna IR-130 is a compact internet radio, but don't be fooled by its small size. This fully-functioning internet radio connects quickly and easily via wireless LAN-based home networks, allowing you to access the full musical diversity of the world wide web. Stream internet broadcasts directly from their countries of origin - hot rhythms from South America, country-folk music from Texas, or the spiritual sounds from Asia - completely free! With easy connection and setup, you can begin listening in a very short time after establishing a few menu settings. The internet radio also connects to your other existing multi-media sources, so that shared music on registered PCs and media servers can be streamed directly by the radio. The built-in stereo speakers are powerful enough on their own, but the unit can also be integrated into your existing HiFi landscape via the built-in rear line input. There is also a headphone jack. Due to its compact dimensions, the Auna IR-130 wireless radio can easily fit anywhere. With a matte black finish and smooth soft-touch surface, it is visually attractive while also pleasant to hold and handle.

Bought this to replace a Viewquest internet radio as I had not realised the Viewquest had no outputs.  This has.  I have a Bose Soundwave unit which I am feeding the audio out from the Auna Radio into.  The sound it fantastic.  Crisp with depth and clarity.  The audio is not as good on some stations but that is the station and not the Auna. It was much smaller than expected but ended being an advantage.  I have not really listened to the in-built speaker but it is typical of a radio of that size. I thoroughly recommend this radio.

The Auna Internet radio is one of the best devices that I could find. Super value for money. To connect to the WIFI I had to enter the password which was a bit annoying as the dial had to be used to change letters on the small screen. This however only had to be done once so it wasn’t much of an issue. The radio has good sound quality which is surprisingly clean and clear and the stations can be played from mediaU.

I sent the item back because it was too complicated for me to set up. After entering all the necessary parameters and disconnecting it from the power supply, the device had forgotten everything. It was very frustrating.

At 9.8cm x 17cm x 10.4cm, this is a nice, compact radio. The special thing is that it is an internet radio. I had been looking for a device like this for a long time, as we often have poor radio reception in our area. The advantage of this radio is that it is connected to the internet via WiFi, and this rarely causes interference. Our WiFi is very stable. Setting up the device is almost self-explanatory. When you switch it on for the first time, you have to set up a network. The various available networks appear in a list. The home network is selected from this list and then the password must be entered. Thank goodness it is only one time, because entering it is a bit cumbersome, whether via remote control or directly on the device. After that, there are various menus: internet radio, search, media player, time, alarm clock, sleep timer, etc. It is also possible to access the product with a computer. The playlist can be activated via the UpNp server. Over 1600 stations are stored in Germany. Sorted by federal state, genre and the most popular stations. You can also add your own stations permanently. I personally haven't managed to do this yet - I still have to find the function. It's nice that you can create your own favorites list. The device also has a history (remembers the last stations you listened to). As for the sound quality: you can preset rock, pop, classical, hip hop, etc. For a device this size, the quality is absolutely fine. I think it's clear that this is not a high-end device and is not intended to be one. Conclusion: compact and rich in stations

The expectations of an internet radio for under 100 euros can't really be high. Here, my personal interest was limited to the functionality and the actual connectivity within our home network. The radio should provide a bit of international flair in my study. Because I would like to stream UK stations as well as internet stations such as 100% German or podcasts from WDR or EINSLIVE. I already have experience with some, in my opinion, very good internet radios, some of which also have DAB or DAB+ (unfortunately not this model) and can therefore give some assessments. The devices I have used so far, some of which have been in use for many years, were and are the Stream83i from ROBERTS, the Imperial 22-230-00 Dabman i200, the NUMAN One - 2.1 Design Internet Radio WLAN Radio and a low-budget device from Ocean. So pretty much everything from 350 euros to 50 euros is represented here. All of the above radios have DAB+ reception and some even have the option of receiving Spotify or Last FM (both for a fee). The look and feel of the Auna IR-130 didn't exactly make me rave after unpacking it. The housing and the control buttons seem, to put it mildly, very spartan and simple. Lots of plastic in a lightweight construction and only the bare essentials in the form of line-out and power plug connection. The menu selection and operation is carried out via the small round plastic buttons, which unfortunately have not been upgraded with lighting technology for use in the dark, as well as the scroll wheel, which is also made of plastic. This is also used to adjust the volume of the radio. The sound of the built-in speakers is in line with the price. Of course, you won't find hi-fi sound here and it is standard in this price segment. It is positive to note that the sound quality does not "deteriorate" when you turn the radio up loud. A subtly muted bass, a few mediocre mids and a tweeter. Everything is normal standard and perfectly adequate for subtle background music. I would have thought it would be great if the option of mobile operation had been implemented. A rechargeable battery, which is also mediocre, would have given it a little extra impetus. The device is pleasantly easy to use. The display is easy to read (even from the side). The menu navigation is well structured and can be internalized and used intuitively within a few minutes. The integration into our home network as a WiFi device was also quick and without any complaints. The connection is extremely good and, if you recall the first impression when unpacking, it is absolutely surprising! My study is in the basement, the router is on the ground floor. There are thick concrete walls and rubble stone in between. The signal strength is always at a good 90 percent, which is better than most of our other Internet radios, some of which were many times more expensive. My personal conclusion about the Auna IR-130 Internet radio WLAN radio (soft-touch surface, 8000 Internet radio stations, broadband speaker, remote control) black is therefore quite good, with some compromises in the simple workmanship of the housing. The functionality is very good, the menu navigation is simple and user-friendly. The sound is standard for the price. Conclusion: Good Internet radio for people who really only want to stream - perhaps as a first entry-level device or, as in my case, as a second device for the study. In my opinion, price and performance match.

The internet radio was given to me free of charge for testing, but that has no influence on my rating. DELIVERY The black device was delivered within 2 days and very well packaged. Simpler box with outer box. QUALITY The radio is neatly made and actually seems to be of good quality in this price range of around €70. The instructions are clearly written and leave no questions unanswered at first glance. The instructions are also necessary because although a lot of it is self-explanatory, it is clearly not everything. FIRST STEPS Connect the power, supply the remote control with batteries and then the network must be set up. WiFi is found within a few seconds and my husband managed to set it up and connect it within 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the password takes a while. After that, you can start searching for stations. The most important stations from all over the world can be put into favorites. So that you don't have to search through them all, you can try the first letter, like with a smartphone. IN EVERYDAY LIFE The favorites are saved quickly and you can access them quickly. Unfortunately, the memory is lost when the device is without power. That's not so nice, of course, but it happens to us maybe once every 5 years, and we can live with that. The device is operated using the front controls or the remote control. This is clearly very practical and responds quite reliably. However, you have to aim very precisely at the device so that the command is recognized and accepted. If you like, you can also connect headphones, but we have the device in the gym and therefore don't need it. The internet connection is always a problem for us. Despite having a central router, we often have the problem that devices suddenly no longer have WiFi. Smartphone, PS4, PC and the same is true here. Although the device is basically only 4 steps away from the router, sometimes we suddenly no longer have a connection in the middle of listening. It usually helps to switch the radio off and on again, then it works again. It happens about once every 2-3 days. The sound that comes out of the internet radio is fine. There is no noise, but that shouldn't be the case with an internet radio. The sound is not necessarily full, but also not pale or hollow. However, it distorts slightly if you turn it up all the way. This is where the device reaches its limits. At low or medium volume, this is not an issue. CONCLUSION The radio looks modern, is easy to use and finds many stations. The connection is not 100% stable, at least for us, and the sound could definitely be better, but if I want sound, I'll buy a device designed for it. So 4 stars

Internet radio - I couldn't really imagine what it was like until now. The small player is very compact and comes with a small remote control. After plugging in the power cable, the on/off button is pressed and the available networks are automatically searched for. If you read the instructions a little, you can get to grips with all the buttons and the wheel. This is how you set passwords and various settings. You can even select individual countries to search for radio stations there. I wanted regional stations that I couldn't receive with the conventional wire antenna on my clock radio. With the auna WLAN radio, the search worked immediately and I can now access many other great stations. The sleep timer (15 - 180 minutes) and alarm functions are also great and can be programmed quickly. The brightness of the display can be dimmed so that the light doesn't disturb your night's sleep. Access and streaming via PC is not used here, as both are in different rooms. I was able to connect the WLAN radio to a speaker using a jack plug, so that my favorite station can now be heard in great sound at any time

I've been wanting to get an internet radio for a long time. now it's done and I must admit that I am particularly satisfied with it. To begin with, let's talk about the packaging, the latter is neat and above all it is lined. In fact, the box containing the product is itself included in another box and therefore, from a shipping security point of view, we can hardly do better. No risk of breakage and it cushions shocks well. a good point for the sender! now let's get to the heart of the matter, once unpacked we find ourselves with the device itself, a remote control and the power cable. from a design point of view it is simple and effective. we perfectly find the Germanic spirit in the design. some will say that it lacks fantasy, but I, who like sober things, find what I'm looking for :). so I plug in the device and immediately I find myself with a menu in German. nothing serious, we go to the settings and modify the language (sprache) to switch to that of Molière. Now all that remains is to configure the wifi. Nothing could be easier, go to the settings then to "network". we select your wifi network then insert the wpa key. TIP==> enter all the characters without validating the last one using the volume wheel. This will save you, like me, from having to do it several times! once connected, the update is carried out immediately then just launch skytune to search for all the available radios (and there are!! but for France there are more than a thousand). then you can easily navigate from one radio to another or go through your favorites. we can even save our favorite radio stations. really practical, powerful and fun to use because you no longer need to turn on your computer to access web radio. the config and ease of use is good but what about the sound! well for a post of this size I am very pleasantly surprised. already the sound is free of hiss unlike FM radios and the quality of the speaker is simply astonishing! the sound is perfectly balanced and the sound volume is high enough to enjoy the radio in difficult sound conditions. Obviously it's not HIFI but for a radio it's excellent! Once adopted, there is no going back. what happiness! In conclusion, if you are looking for this type of product, the latter is particularly successful and I can only recommend its purchase! you will not regret it! willy

I am really happy with this internet radio. At first glance, the aesthetic is simple, sober and modern. The device is incredibly light, which really surprised me. This radio is supplied with a remote control, instructions and a mains power cable. After switching on, I notice that the screen is a good size, the backlighting is not aggressive (for use at night) and the writing is quite large and clear. Then, the first challenge is to find the configuration to put the radio in French, because it is basic in German. I had a second problem entering the security key for my internet box. In fact, writing the key is not the most practical and after several attempts I couldn't do it. I subsequently found the solution which is not to validate the last value of the key. Aside from these small installation issues, I haven't noticed any other problems. Once the radio is properly installed and connected to WiFi, it is truly impressive. It is possible to have access to radios from any country. As there are so many of them, they are automatically classified by the most popular or the genre of music. Furthermore, the WiFi connection allows very good sound quality, no crackling and no need to search for the frequency of the desired station. The different radios can be placed as favorites to avoid having to search for them each time. It is possible to favorite 99 radio stations. The device can also have access to the music library of a computer that is connected to the same network, if it allows access. This radio also obviously has an alarm function. The remote control is small and provides access to all of the radio's functions. An advantage is having access to favorite radio stations thanks to the numbers. Finally, it is a good quality product, well designed and very space-saving. Having access to radios from all over the world is a real asset, especially for varying styles or having access to a radio without using a computer. It also offers radios not available through traditional means. Personally, I will listen to English radio stations, particularly the BBC, to improve my skills in this language. If I notice a problem over time, I will update this comment.

We therefore find in the packaging: - The Auna IR-130 Wifi Internet radio, - A wireless remote control, - A short user manual in English (the manual in French can be obtained on simple request to the manufacturer), We unpack , I admit to being surprised by the small size as well as the somewhat plastic appearance of this radio but rest assured, I quickly changed my mind. I didn't really know the concept of Internet radio, rather accustomed to using my tablet or my Smartphone, but after about thirty minutes of getting started I was won over. We start first by: - Turn on the device which in my case was in German, thanks to the manual, I was able to switch it back to French very quickly, - Connect the radio to the Internet using the Wifi connection (the most long being the entry of the security key with the wheel), - Then, we go to the application allowing the selection and search of radio stations by selecting the one that interests us and adding them as favorites in order to find them very quickly. simply, it is possible to search according to numerous criteria such as the geographical region, the style of music as well as the notoriety of the stations, - You then just have to enjoy your favorite stations, Once the radio is tuned, you You can place it wherever you want and completely forget about it since you can control everything from the very practical remote control. You can also send music from a UPNP / DLNA compatible music source but the interest is less in my opinion. I appreciated the clarity of the sound, it's a complete change from the car radio, the sound is crystal clear! And that's normal since we're on exclusively digital sound. In terms of power, nothing to say for a normal room, it is perfectly suited. The advantages (+): - Radio sound quality, - Ergonomics once the radio is configured, - Discreet The disadvantages (-): - RAS,

Packaging and speed: More than perfect! Here's my first internet radio, I've been waiting for one for a year! Having moved to a village without fiber and having a speed of 0.8 Mega... which is to say nothing at all, this radio works perfectly (see video). Surprised by the size, I thought it was bigger. Less than 15 cm long with a speaker. The screen is blue and backlit. The radio is well finished. A few small drawbacks: the instructions are not in French but that does not slow down its use, not at all, you can nevertheless change the language in the settings to very approximate French... And when connecting to the Wifi network, a little tricky with the security key, you risk starting again 1 or 2 times (the screen does not go all the way to the WPA key). The most: the sound is good! despite the size and number of speakers, the scanning system (8000) stations, I can finally listen to the music I want, wherever I want! even without advertising depending on the stations and even in the countryside and very quickly with Skytune! The remote control ! The ranking of favorites numbering 10 In short, you would only need a larger screen to be able to see it from a little further away. The bottom line is that you won't be disappointed. Allows a first connection with this type of radio.

Small and discreet, it doesn't necessarily appeal at first glance, but this Web radio is really nice. ==== Presentation ==== The radio is delivered in a well-protected cardboard box (no risk of breakage). Two accessories are also delivered: a power cord and a remote control. ==== User manual ==== The user manual is only in English and German. Very annoying if you don't speak these languages. If you speak English or German, the instructions are pretty clear. ==== Changing the default language (German) ==== The product being German, it is calibrated by default to the German language, which I find very annoying and incomprehensible. Not speaking a word of German, I had to go there slowly, with the help of a dictionary (thanks Google trad). If like me you don't speak a word of German, after trying to connect, take the remote control (or the central dial of the radio) and press directly on: - the icon representing a house on the remote control then - a using the down arrow and Enter, select "Einstellungen" (configuration) then - using the down arrow and Enter, select "Sprache" (language) then - using the arrow down and Enter, choose the language of your choice from: German, French, Spanish, Italian. The French offered is a little basic (but for me is much better than German!). ==== Material & Design ==== The radio appears to be made of a rigid plastic and is very light. The design is very sober and the radio is small. It blends in with any decor. A blue and white screen allows you to navigate through the various options offered. ==== Settings ==== For settings, go directly to Configuration (proposed in the main menu = house icon) There you will find the possibility of settings for: - network - Date and time - Language - Installation of local radio - Playback installation - DLNA installation - Resume when charging is on - dimmer - EQ:[Flat] - Iformation - Software update - Default reset Use the central wheel to scroll through the letters and the right key to move to the next letter. == WIFI & Skynet Setting up WIFI is a bit of a pain but once you enter your WIFI password, everything is OK. After entering the password, the Internet radio (Skynet) automatically updates and then refreshes. Skynet allows you to access thousands of global radio stations (sorted by genre, regions, etc.). Enough to improve in several languages. This option is really well done and for me this is what makes this radio interesting. You will be able to listen to all the radios in the world (and in France) which are usually inaccessible from a traditional radio. ==== Configuration, options & UPnP ==== Overall use is rather intuitive (except for text entry). After settings, this radio also serves as an alarm clock, clock, etc. You can also download your own music (using a PC) to the radio, to listen to them directly. For this last option, your PC must be equipped with UPnP (Universal Plug and Play). ==== Sound quality ==== The sound quality is quite good. The sound is clear and powerful. The bass is quite present (which surprised me for this type of radio). In summary, once the configuration barrier is overcome, this radio turns out to be very interesting. A great discovery. Value for money: good

Taken out of curiosity, it is becoming quite useful for us when studying... because once you understand how to make it work (the instructions are not in Italian and are also concise) it allows you to find radio stations on the network thanks to the wi-fi connection (not supports Bluetooth, which is a small flaw in our opinion). How does he feel? In a rather good room, clear voices, music balanced on the bass less on the highs which sometimes shoot up annoying the harmonic of the sound (the volume is also a lot, don't turn it up to the maximum). Product kindly offered to us by the seller :-) Tested and honestly evaluated

As soon as this radio arrived, I have to be honest, I had a little difficulty understanding how it worked, because even though in a technological era like ours, progress in this sector is now enormous... well, it was the first time I owned a support of this kind and I can now understand how the older generations feel in difficulty with all these technologies such as even normal smartphones. Maybe someone else in my place would have planned everything in two seconds... but for me it was the first time. I'm honest again....I know little English and German, so thanks to some reading of other reviews, I also managed to set Italian and everything came together! The various menus are navigated either via the central wheel and the buttons below or in a simpler way via the small, compact and lightweight remote control which is ready for use, just remove the protective film on the battery. Once this is done, set the language with the following options: NEIN, EINSTELLUNGEN and then SPARCHE Subsequently the radio searches for the network, which must necessarily be WI FI, once found you must proceed to enter the fairly simple password using the remote control and then it is ready for use! I really didn't think radios like this could exist, I was so thrilled! Through the menu you can locate radio stations from all over the world, the function is called SKYtune, filtering continent, country, genre of music... a vast choice to customize to the max! With ""Internet radio"" you access this function. Then we have the media center that you can use to share streaming music via PC. The integrated full-range speakers are decidedly powerful, but if you want to integrate an additional HiFi system you can do so via the rear Line output. Headphones can also be connected. It has a connection to electricity and since it works via wi fi, I consider it more of a bedside or home radio, in fact I changed my other alarm clock radio with this one... since there is also the function to pair with melodies or own choices. From an aesthetic point of view, it is small, light and compact, it appears simple but quite refined

Saludos D Mike MQ.

We are faced with a radio to tune into all the radios in the world, this device works through Wi-Fi Streaming that will allow us to listen to any station on the planet. The radio also has other options such as alarm clock and timer. As soon as we turn on for the first time we must make some small configuration adjustments such as setting the time and date, in addition to locating our Wifi and thus having it already connected. It has a speaker that is logically not wonderful but more than enough to be able to listen and use it as an alarm clock. Once we have made the basic settings we can select the area where we want, either local radio and select the country we want to listen to or a search by name and it will show us the stations that have that name or initials from all over the world. The device is really small and weighs very little, as soon as I saw it I didn't think that such a small device would give so many options. When I turned it on for the first time, all the menus came out in German, something I didn't like, then I managed to change it but it only left us with English, but you more or less defend yourself. Conclusion. A device that will allow us to listen to any station in the world. If you are from another country and miss your favorite station, with this device you will be able to listen to the program you listened to in your country. It has a wheel to move through the menus which in turn increases or decreases the volume. More than one person will love this device, others will not care and will not show any interest, but personally I think it is a radio that will delight more users. The main drawback is that you need a Wi-Fi connection to be able to connect and stream, but the good thing is that since it is all digital you will not have any type of loss. The screen is backlit and has a minijack output in case we want to listen to it with headphones or connect it to more powerful speakers. Regards D Mike MQ.

). È possibile salvare fino a 99 canali.

Internet Radio Auna which pleasantly impressed me. This is an example of the evolution of our dear friend radio: a radio with an internet connection capable of receiving global stations from the Skytune server (it offers infinite channels divided by country, genre... Basically in the era where everything is is also digitizing the good old radio is undergoing some small step towards the common future while remembering, see the aesthetics of this internet radio, the past to the Auna IR 130 receiver, there is also the power supply with jack connection, a remote control (with battery already included) and a small manual in German and English (unfortunately the radio is set to be used with only these two languages) The receiver has the shape of a simple parallelepiped weighing about half a kilo. All black, it adapts well to all environments (both the most modern and the more classic ones). . Don't be scared when you turn it on for the first time - especially if it is set to German (I admit that I had a moment of crisis because, if I can manage with English, German is unknown to me). It simply asks you if you want to use the guided configuration: follow these simple steps: NEIN, EINSTELLUNGEN and then SPARCHE to choose the English language. It will immediately search for the first available wifi internet network and will ask you, after confirming access using the wpa2 key, for your password (you can enter it using the remote control - using the arrows to choose the letters). By pressing the info button on the remote control during playback you will access a lot of information (audio quality, channel name, title... ). You can save up to 99 channels. The remote control is practical and light and in addition to the functions also present on the front of the device it also has the MUTE, ALARM and SLEEP buttons (which are very important for me). In the early stages of use you can allow geographical localization (a bit like certain apps require) to offer you local broadcasters. If you have connected other devices (PCs) to your home network capable of sharing the music they contain via UPNP, with this radio you can also play those music files (MP3, WMA, WAV...). The sound is powerful and crystal clear (goodbye to the usual hissing noises). It offers the possibility of setting a double alarm (you can then choose the classic sound or even internet buzzer). Can also be used with headphones. I would also like to point out the presence of rubber pads on the lower part to keep the receiver secure to the support surface, but also to avoid damaging it. Apart from an initial difficulty with the German language - but go ahead and follow the steps above - it is a device that can also be used by those who are not exactly up to date with technology. The sound is very clean and there is a truly vast choice of channels. As my first step into the world of digital radio I am more than satisfied!

** INTRODUCTION ** This is the third Auna Internet radio receiver that I have reviewed. This time it is the IR-130, the smallest in the house with network functions, only Internet, no FM or DAB but designed in my opinion for a young user who loves new technologies. As I have already said in other reviews, purchasing a standalone radio receiver today may seem anachronistic to some, but if you look at the characteristics of this receiver and above all if you understand how the radio media is today one of those that has kept pace with the most times you will understand why what I am going to describe to you is a cutting-edge product while maintaining a design that is reminiscent of the classic radio apparatus. ** WHAT YOU WILL FIND IN THE PACKAGE ** The very basic and eco-friendly packaging contains: -The Internet Radio 130 receiver -The power supply with jack connection -The remote control (with CR2032 battery included) -A small manual in English and German * * THE TEST ** Let's start with the description of the device: the receiver, a parallelepiped with dimensions in mm 165L 100H 100P and weighing only 460g, the one I purchased has a black chassis and a white front panel (very nice and youthful), a good half of the front is occupied by the speaker, powerful and brilliant across the entire sound range, while the remaining part has the display in the upper part and the controls in the lower part. When I first turned on the device it asked me (in English) if I wanted to use the setup wizard for the network or the guided configuration and thinking it was the best solution I accepted, immediately learning that the various selections can be made from the front panel very simply using the rotary selector which can be pressed to confirm choices. Warning: if it suggests the German language initially, don't lose heart, choose Nein at the initial question and then look for the Einstellungen item and from there select Sprache (language) where you can set the language to English. It is only possible to use the menu in English or German. At this point it started searching for wifi internet connections, offering them to me on the screen. I selected my home network and then confirmed access via wpa2 key, and it offered me a screen for entering password characters in sequential mode, i.e. you can compose the password from the remote control using up and down arrows to choose the letters and right left to add a character or delete it. The radio does not have a wired Ethernet connection so a wifi network is essential. The configuration of internet radios is therefore immediate, cataloging the world stations from a centralized server called Skytune, and I must say that this function is amazing, thousands of channels available classified by country, musical genre and fame of the broadcaster (all the information on audio quality, song being played, channel description are available by pressing the info button on the remote control). Furthermore, the fact that the receiver firmware is updatable protects us from any future changes to the indexing server. Furthermore, the radio asks us for our geographical location to set the default of the area broadcasters which it will propose both in order of fame and in an alphabetical list. Remember that in any case you can memorize up to 99 favorite stations among those proposed by the device which can be recalled from the remote control with a number decided by you. If your favorite radio station is not present among those available in the world directory, you know its internet address, all you need to do is connect to the radio's IP with a browser (you can find it in the network information once connected) and you will find a simple interface where you can manually enter all the information of the broadcaster you wish to add, all you need is the streaming provided

Despite very little use, a device that does what we expect of it. I use it in the morning in the bathroom or in my garage and it is more than enough for me.
