Glücklich heute das Gerät in Empfang genommen. Bei der Installation die große Enttäuschung. Entgegen der Beschreibung mit eindeutigem Hinweis auf LAN fehlte der Anschluss auf der Rückseite. Deshalb geht das Gerät umgehend zurück. Ich vermeide die WLAN-Strahlung wo es eben geht. Zudem hat man ja offenbar große Probleme mit den WLAN.

Nach vielen Tagen Recherche bin ich auf dieses Modell aufmerksam geworden. Nach gründlicher Überlegung habe ich mich dazu entschlossen dieses Produkt zu kaufen und ich würde es wenn ich Bedarf hätte sofort wieder kaufen. Wie immer war die Amazon Lieferung sehr schnell. Die Installation ging ohne Probleme. Beim Unboxing des Produktes war ich sehr überrascht wie hochwertig die Verarbeitung ist. Noch weiter überrascht war ich als ich das erste Mal den Klang gehört habe. Was mir besonders gut gefällt an dem Modell, ist dass ich die Möglichkeit der Steuerung über die App habe. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es, da ich dieses Gerät noch nicht über meine smarten sprachassistenten steuern kann. Zusätzlich bedauere ich sehr, dass es keine Möglichkeit gibt YouTube Music oder Amazon Music mit dem Modell zu verbinden.

After many days of research, I became aware of this model. After careful consideration, I decided to buy this product and I would buy it again if I needed it. As always, Amazon delivery was very fast. The installation went without any problems. When unboxing the product, I was very surprised at the high quality of the workmanship. I was even more surprised when I heard the sound for the first time. What I particularly like about the model is that I have the option of controlling it via the app. There is a point deduction because I cannot yet control this device via my smart voice assistants. In addition, I very much regret that there is no way to connect YouTube Music or Amazon Music to the model.

Dieses Radio hat einen überraschend tollen Klang. Die Einrichtung des Radios erfolgte problemlos mit der guten beiliegenden Bedienungsanleitung. Die jeweils 20 Senderspeicherplätze für Internetradio, UKW-Sender und DAB+ sind mehr als ausreichend. Das CD - Laufwerk läuft absolut geräuscharm auch bei geringster Lautstärke. Die Fernbedienung funktioniert problemlos. Das Radio macht einen sehr guten Eindruck in seiner Optik. Der Preis ist absolut o.k. für die sehr gute Qualität. Der Kauf dieses Radios kann absolut empfohlen werden.

The 20 station presets for internet radio, FM stations and DAB+ are more than sufficient. The CD drive runs absolutely quietly, even at the lowest volume. The remote control works fine. Die Numan Two 2.1 hat genau all die Funktionen, die ich in einem Gerät gesucht habe: DAB, USB, CD, Internetradio, Mediaplayer. Der Klang ist für ein solch kompaktes Gerät super, die Verarbeitung sehr gut. Für ein Gerät in dieser Preisklasse hätte ich mir aber eine etwas "aufwendigere" Fernbedienung gewünscht, so dass man die Quellen direkt ansteuern kann. Die Sortierung von Titeln, wenn das Gerät als Mediaplayer benutzt wird, ist auch nicht gut. Bei den meisten gerippten CD's wird die Reihenfolge durcheinander geworfen, so dass man meist sehr aufwendig Playlist erstellen muss. Hier sollte man die Software so abändern, dass man verschiedene Möglichkeiten auswählen kann, die Titel zu sortieren. Wenn man bestimmt Internet-Radiosender sucht, macht man dies am besten per App. Da lassen sich noch recht schnell die Sender über Namenseingabe suchen, macht man dies direkt am Gerät ist das langwierig. Insgesamt tolle Funktionen, tolle Klang gute Verarbeitung. Die Bedienung ist verbesserungswürdig und leider ging nach nicht einmal 18 Monaten das CD Laufwerk kaputt, es ließen sich keine CD's einlegen, das Gerät glaubt eine CD eingelegt zu haben und verriegelt den Einzug.

The Numan Two 2.1 has exactly all the functions I was looking for in one device: DAB, USB, CD, internet radio, media player. The sound is great for such a compact device, the workmanship is very good. For a device in this price range, however, I would have wished for a somewhat "more complex" remote control so that the sources could be controlled directly. If you are looking for specific Internet radio stations, the best way to do this is via an app. The stations can be searched for quickly by entering names, but doing this directly on the device is tedious. Overall great features, great sound, good workmanship. The operation could be improved and unfortunately the CD drive broke after less than 18 months, no CDs could be inserted, the device believes a CD has been inserted and locks the feeder.

So I contacted Numan via Amazon but no reply, several times. Than I tried Numan main brand and they replied very rudly that I missed shortly the 2 years guaranty time and they can not do anything anymore. That during CV-19 nobody is allowed to meet anybody or even not to go to post to send something, they didn't care. Before Numan said they could had repaired it but now even if I pay they just don't want to do it. They told me that even universal remotes are not compatible. So just no help, no customer service, yes they have, but not a good German one. For the price we payed for the Numan Two, I would never buy anymore the same again. There are too many other similar brands, with a much better customer service and better rates at Stiftung Warentest. Its a shame. I am so disappointed. And no, I do not have any understanding for their decision as they excuse them self that they can not help me out (Danke für Ihr Verständniss) . Das Radio wurde super schnell geliefert und war gut verpackt. Die Erstinbetriebnahme war durch die umfangreiche, in Papierform gelieferte Bedienungsanleitung Und WPS kinderleicht. Sehr erfreulich ist das CD-Laufwerk, welches fast geräuschlos seinen Dienst verrichtet. Die Grundabstimmung ist allerdings ausschließlich Bass. Glücklicherweise gibt es diverse Klangmodi und die Möglichkeit, den Equalizer manuell anzupassen. Nach vielen Versuchen gefiel mir, als ausgesprochenen Fan der Hardrock Fraktion, die Klassik Einstellung am Besten. Zuletzt muss ich noch erwähnen, dass die Lautsprecher, wie bei vielen meiner Boxen der Vergangenheit, eine Einspielzeit benötigen, um den völligen Hub und somit ihr Volumen zu entfalten.

Das Numan Two 2.1 ist technisch sehr aufwendig ausgestattet und bietet alle denkbaren Funktionen. Es ist ein echter "Hingucker" und hat einen hervorragenden satten Klang, mit Subwoofer. Die Bedienungsplatte auf der Oberseite erinnert allerdings an ein "Mäusekino" und ist nicht besonders gut ablesbar. Aber dafür gibt es die Fernbedienung. Der Preis ist mit 319,99 Euro überall gleich. Dafür sorgt offensichtlich der Vertreiber Chal-Tec. Der CEO Peter Chaljawski erweckt etwas den Eindruck, als seien seine hochwertigen Produkte Eigenfertigungen. Aber sie kommen sicherlich aus Fernost und werden in Berlin nur konfiguriert. Trotzdem: klare Kaufempfehlung, auch bei hohem Preis.

Positiv : Der Sound und die Soundeinstellmöglichkeiten sind perfekt . Das kompakte Radio steht einer kleinen Stereoanlage um nichts nach. Daß Internetradio hat sich schnell mit dem Netzwerk verbunden. Die Bedienung ist auch sehr einfach gehalten. Die Anschlüsse sind auch in jeder Hinsicht vorhanden. Durch seine kompakte Größe findet sich immer ein Platz dafür. Negativ : Was etwas störend ist, ist daß sich das Radio beim Einschalten immer erst ins Internet einwählen will . Vielleicht gibt's dafür ne Einstellung, die ich noch nicht gefunden habe. Der Preis ist etwas stolz gegenüber anderer Anbieter. Aber Qualität kostet. Fazit : Das Gesamtpaket ist mehr als akzeptabel. Sound in dieser kompakten Größe der Hammer. Design ist immer Geschmacksache. In Weiß fand ich es elegant. Viele Anschlussmöglichkeiten und für jemanden der etwas technisches Verständnis hat eine einfache Bedienung und Einstellung. Würde dieses Radio jederzeit mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Ich bin jemand, der bei Elektrogeräten sehr genau sucht und lange überlegt, ob sich die Anschaffung rechtfertigt. Da ich mein altes Radiogerät (was lange hielt und noch heute funktioniert) Panasonic RX-DT 75, gegen ein moderneres (rauschärmeres) und energiesparenderes eintauschen wollte, entschied ich mich für ein DAB+ Radio der aktuellsten Gerneration. Ein bischen Luxus wollte ich mir dann auch noch gönnen, ich habe noch ein paar CD's, und die Möglichkeit für Multiroomfähigkeit stand auch noch im Raum. Nach langem suchen (bei Multiroom, Bluetooth, Wlan, 2.1 System, CD Wiedergabe) musste ich feststellen, dass wenn man diese Features haben will, sind die Preise deutlich höher. Die Numan konnte mich jedoch nicht überzeugen. An der Verarbeitung ist nichts auszusetzen. Die Anschluss Möglichkeiten sind toll (Cinch Ein-/ und Ausgänge auf der Rückseite sowie eine Lanbuchse). Zudem hat dieses Gerät Wlan (2.4), Bluetooth, USB Anschluss, Kopfhörer Ausgang, DAB+ und FM Empfang, Internetradio, und ist Multiroom fähig. Der Klang ist leider unausgewogen und zu Basslastig. Bei ausgeschalteter Loudness Funktion (Klangverbesserung) hört sich die Numan 2.1 an wie ein zu teurer Radiowecker. Wenn man das Radio mit Klangverbesserung spielen lässt, dann wird es schon bei Lautstärke 9 unangenehm dröhnend (ähnlicher Effekt auch bei anderen Herstellern). Dies lässt sich auch mit diversen equalizer Einstellungen nur mäßig regulieren. Eine weitere wesentliche Kaufentscheidung für mich war die Alarm Funktion (früher Timer), damit man sich mit Musik wecken lassen kann. Umso mehr überraschte mich, dass der Timer nach genau 60 Minuten automatisch aus ging. Egal welche Quelle eingestellt war. Auf meine Nachfrage beim Support (ob man eine Ausschaltzeit einstellen könnne) erhielt ich eine sehr unwirsche und, meiner Meinung nach, unfreundliche Antwort: "Diese Funktion gibt es bei dem Gerät ... nicht." Ich habe inzwischen ein Technisat Digitradio 600. Diese hat mit dem Timer zwar das gleiche Phänomen aber die Support Antwort war hier deutlich Kundenfreundlicher Verfasst. "Es tut uns leid, dass sie ein Problem mit unserem Gerät haben, aber dieser Funktion ist bei der ... nicht vorgesehen. Wird werden allerdings ihre Anregung an die technische Abteilung weiterleiten ..." Hört sich doch ganz anders an. Preislich unterscheiden sich die beiden Geräte (Numan 2.1 und Technisat Digitradio 600) übrigens nur wenig. Technisch sind beide auch auf ähnlichem Stand. Die Technisat bietet hier allerdings keine Cinch Anchlüsse an, sondern lediglich einen Klinken Audio-Eingang. Allerdings unterstüzt sie den NFC standart zusätzlich als Verbindungsmöglichkeit mit dem Smartphone. Ein Wort zur Fernbedienung. Die Timertasten bei der Numan 2.1 sind falsch oder nicht vollständig Programiert. Dies funktioniert bei der Technisat richtig. Der Klang der Technisat( 2.1 System) ist besser in der Grundeinstellung als bei der Numan 2.1 allerdings jenseits der 9 fängt auch Sie an zu Dröhnen. Der Stromverbrauch bei beiden Modellen ist fast identisch, im Betrieb ca. 3-5 Watt und im Standby zwischen 0,5 und 1 Watt. Der Verbrauch im Standby ist abhängig von der Wlan Einstellung. Beide Geräte können mit einer App bedient werden (das Einschalten der Geräte per App ist nur mit eingeschaltetem Wlan/ Lan im Standby möglich). Die App von Technisat hat hier für mich den besseren Eindruck hinterlassen. Beide Geräte wurden von der jeweilig anderen App (Technisat: Technisat my Connect/ Numan: Undok) erkannt und die Grundfunktionen liesen sich anwählen. Fazit: Den Klang des Technisat Digitradio 600 (2.1 System) finde ich ausgewogener und besser. Da kann die Numan 2.1 (2.1 System) nicht mithalten. Die Verarbeitung beider Geräte ist tadellos. Die Anschlussmöglichkeiten sind bei der Numan 2.1 deutlich besser. Der Stromverbrauch ist fast identisch. Als Besonderheit sei erwähnt, das die Numan 2.1 einen Netzschalter hat mit dem man das Gerät komplett aussachalten kann. Bei beiden Geräte bleiben die Einstellungen nach Stromausfall erhalten.

I also wanted to treat myself to a bit of luxury, I still have a few CDs, and the possibility of multi-room capability was also in the room. After a long search (with multi-room, Bluetooth, WiFi, 2.1 system, CD playback) I found that if you want these features, the prices are significantly higher. However, the Numan could not convince me. There is nothing wrong with the processing. The connection options are great (cinch inputs and outputs on the back and a Lan socket). In addition, this device has WiFi (2.4), Bluetooth, USB connection, headphone output, DAB+ and FM reception, Internet radio, and is multi-room capable. The sound is unfortunately unbalanced and too bass-heavy. With the loudness function (sound improvement) switched off, the Numan 2.1 sounds like an overpriced clock radio. If you let the radio play with sound enhancement, then it already becomes unpleasantly booming at volume 9 (similar effect with other manufacturers). This can only be regulated moderately with various equalizer settings. Another important purchase decision for me was the alarm function (formerly timer), so that you can wake up with music. I was all the more surprised that the timer automatically switched off after exactly 60 minutes. No matter which source was set. When I asked support (whether it was possible to set a switch-off time), I received a very rude and, in my opinion, unfriendly answer: "This function is not available on the device." I now have a Technisat Digitradio 600. This has the same phenomenon with the timer, but the support response here was much more customer-friendly. "We are sorry that you are having a problem with our device, but this function is not intended for the ... However, we will forward your suggestion to the technical department ..." It sounds very different. Incidentally, the price of the two devices (Numan 2.1 and Technisat Digitradio 600) differs only slightly. Technically, both are also on a similar level. However, the Technisat does not offer any cinch connections here, but only a jack audio input. However, it also supports the NFC standard as a connection option with the smartphone. A word about the remote control. The timer buttons on the Numan 2.1 are incorrect or not fully programmed. This works correctly at the Technisat. The sound of the Technisat (2.1 system) is better in the basic setting than with the Numan 2.1, but beyond the 9 it also starts to drone. The power consumption of both models is almost identical, around 3-5 watts in operation and between 0.5 and 1 watt in standby. The consumption in standby depends on the WLAN setting. Both devices can be operated with an app (switching on the devices via the app is only possible with the WLAN/LAN switched on in standby). The Technisat app made the better impression for me here. Both devices were recognized by the respective other app (Technisat: Technisat my Connect/ Numan: Undok) and the basic functions could be selected. Conclusion: I find the sound of the Technisat Digitradio 600 (2.1 system) more balanced and better. The Numan 2.1 (2.1 system) cannot keep up. The processing of both devices is impeccable. The connection options are significantly better with the Numan 2.1. The power consumption is almost identical. As a special feature, it should be mentioned that the Numan 2.1 has a power switch with which the device can be switched off completely. With both devices, the settings are retained after a power failure.

Es ist ja schon viel geschrieben worden, schade ist das bis jetzt noch keiner detailliert über den Sound geschrieben hat, und der Testbericht von einem Hifimagazin mit Note 1 kann ich nicht verstehen. Das Radio ist in der Verarbeitung und Optik ganz klar das beste in der Preisklasse auf dem Markt. Ich verstehe nur nicht die Klangeigenschaften. Diese Basslastigkeit und die nicht wirklich transparenten Mitten und Höhen. Die Bässe müssen um mindestens Wert -4 und Höhen +4 eingestellt sein damit es vernünftig klingt. Stellt man die Höhen einen Wert höher klingt es sofort völlig unnatürlich . Da ich vorher ein Panasonic All9 in der gleichen Preisklasse getestet habe und der die gleichen negativen Eigenschaften hatte, leicht Dumpf in den Mitten und Höhen und einen Bass der ganz untergeregelt werden muss um normal zu klingen. Scheinbar geht guter sound nicht in dieser Gehäusegröße. Fazit - ein schönes Küchenradio - leise eingesetzt mit gutem Klang.

This bass heaviness and the not really transparent mids and highs. The bass needs to be at least -4 and treble +4 to make it sound reasonable. If you set the treble a value higher, it immediately sounds completely unnatural. Since I previously tested a Panasonic All9 in the same price range and it had the same negative characteristics, slightly muffled in the mids and highs and a bass that had to be completely underregulated in order to sound normal. Apparently good sound doesn't work in this case size. Conclusion - a beautiful kitchen radio - used quietly with good sound.

Habe das Gerät heute bekommen, möchte es als Küchenradio benutzen; zunächst irritierend: keine Batterien für die Fernbedienung, keine Bedienungsanleitung, keine Schutzfolie auf dem Display, -> Rückläufer? Wie auch immer: -Einrichtung: problemlos, Grundeinstellungen, WLAN, etc. alles intuitiv geht auch ohne Bedienungsanleitung. -Verarbeitung gut, mit Ausnahme des Bedienfeldes auf der Oberfläche des Gerätets, das wirkt billig und ist auch nicht funktionell. -CD: nur kurz ausprobiert, funktioniert. -Radio FM: nur wenige Sender mit der mitgelieferten Antenne rauschfrei zu empfangen, (genau die Sender die mich nicht interessieren), das konnte mein altes Radio besser, hier wäre ein externer Antennenanschluss super gewesen. -DAB: auch nur wenige Sender, (s.o.), die natürlich in Top-Qualität. -WLAN: funktioniert aber vereinzelt Abbrüche wenn ich über meine Synologybox Music auf Flac-Dateien höre, HiRes-Flac-Dateien werden teilweise nicht abgespielt, lädt und lädt....; da ich persönlich WLAN wenn immer möglich meide, werde ich das Gerät über das LAN anschließen, (spätestens wenn die Küche renoviert wird). -Musikplayer: erkennt über UPnP Ordnerstrukturen, kommt problemlos in meine Synology box und: kann Gapless play! Das kann mein Audiosystem im Daimler nicht, super! -Internetradio: viele Sender, funktioniert problemlos. -USB/Aux in: nicht probiert, ich denke das wird gut funktionieren. -Spotify: hab ich kein Abo, brauche ich auch nicht. -Bluetooth: werden meine Kinder benutzen, ich brauche es nicht, nur kurz getestet, funktioniert. -Fernbedienung: etwas "hakelig". -Die App (Undok): Super! (viel einfachere und komfortablere Bedienung als mit der FB, (hier auch schon mehrfach geschrieben)). -Klang: Kein High End, gemessen an dem Preis aber akzeptabel, wenn man die Bässe etwas zurückfährt und das Gerät auf eine vibrationsdämpfende Unterlage stellt... . (Ich höre überwiegend Klassik). Fazit: Das Positive überwiegt die kleinen Macken; ich denke ich werde viel Freude mit dem Gerät haben. Wolfgang

Whatever the case: -Setup: problem-free, basic settings, WLAN, etc. everything works intuitively even without a user manual. -Workmanship good, with the exception of the control panel on the surface of the device, which looks cheap and is also not functional. -CD: just tried it, works. -Radio FM: only a few stations can be received noise-free with the supplied antenna (exactly the stations that don't interest me), my old radio could do that better, an external antenna connection would have been great here. -DAB: also only a few stations (see above), which of course are in top quality. -WLAN: works but occasionally crashes when I listen to Flac files via my Synologybox Music, HiRes Flac files are sometimes not played, loads and loads....; since I personally avoid WLAN whenever possible, I will connect the device via the LAN (at the latest when the kitchen is renovated). -Music player: recognizes folder structures via UPnP, comes easily into my Synology box and: can gapless play! My audio system in the Daimler can't do that, great! -Internet radio: many stations, works without problems. -USB/Aux in: not tried, I think this will work fine. -Spotify: If I don't have a subscription, I don't need it either. -Bluetooth: my kids will use it, I don't need it, just tested it, it works. -Remote control: a bit "notchy". -The App (Undok): Awesome! (Much simpler and more comfortable operation than with the FB, (also written here several times)). -Sound: Not high-end, but acceptable given the price if you reduce the bass a bit and place the device on a vibration-dampening surface... . Tolles Gerät! Die Einrichtung war sehr intuitiv und gelang ohne Handbuch in kurzer Zeit. FM, DAB und Internetsender waren schnell auf Favoritentasten eingerichtet. Leider ist die Beschreibung für die Einrichtung der Favoriten komplizierter als real - Sender z.B „1Live“ läuft; Fernbedienungstaste „1“ drücken - der Sender kann in Zukunft über die „1“ ausgewählt werden. Der Equalizer hat für die manuelle Einstellung leider nur die Möglichkeit, Höhen und Bässe in ihrer Stärke zu regulieren. Mehr Differenzierung wäre hier besser. Der Sound des Gerätes ist aber dennoch ganz ordentlich. Verarbeitung sehr gut. Die Fernbedienung ist (anders, als einige geschrieben haben) recht gut und liegt auch gut in der Hand. Sensationell finde ich, dass ich über das Internetportal „frontier“ meine selbst-gefundenen Internetradiosender einrichten könnte. Das Gerät würde ich jedem empfehlen, wenn es ein wenig preisgünstiger wäre. Bei dem Preis stünde ich sonst als Angeber da :-)

Great device! The setup was very intuitive and was done in a short time without a manual. FM, DAB and Internet stations were quickly set up on favorite buttons. Wir haben nach einem neuen Radio mit DAB +und einem CD Player gesucht und waren in sämtlichen Elektrofachmärkten die wir hier in Berlin in unserer Nähe haben . Was uns sehr verwirrt hat war die Tatsache , das wir keins gefunden haben. Also haben wir uns am Abend bei einem guten Glas Wein hingesetzt und bei Amazon gestöbert . In das Teil von NUMAN hab ich mich gleich verliebt und weil mich auch die Rezessionen voll überzeugten , haben wir es bestellt . Also schon der Versand hat mir ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert . Wir haben es Montag bestellt ; wurden per Email immer über den Versandstatus informiert und am Mittwoch haben wir es fast zur angegebenen Uhrzeit in Empfang genommen .Einfach Klasse !!! Das Radio war super sicher verpackt und als ich die weißen Handschuhe gesehen habe mußte ich sogar schmunzeln . Also wer auch immer überlegt dieses Radio zu kaufen , der sollte es auch tun . We were looking for a new radio with DAB+ and a CD player and went to all the electronics stores that we have in Berlin. What really confused us was the fact that we didn't find any. So in the evening we sat down with a good glass of wine and browsed Amazon. I fell in love with the part from NUMAN right away and because the recessions really won me over, we ordered it. The shipping already put a smile on my face. We ordered it Monday; We were always informed about the shipping status by email and on Wednesday we received it almost at the specified time. Simply great !!! The radio was packed very securely and when I saw the white gloves I even had to smile. So whoever is considering buying this radio should do so too. Numan ist eine recht neue Marke der Chal-Tec GmbH, die bisher unter verschiedensten Markennamen eher günstige Elektronikartikel bei chinenischen Herstellern einkauft und einen eigenen Namen anbringt. So ist das auch hier, was ich nun weiß nachdem ich mal recherchiert habe wer da eigentlich hintersteckt. Die Numan one und two sind in erster Linie ziemlich dreiste Designkopien der Ruark Audio R2 & R4, einfach mal googlen und vergleichen. Das Numan Gerät ist auch sicherlich nicht "designed and engineered in Germany". Wenn man sich mal das "Lemega M4+ " https://www.amazon.de/LEMEGA-M4-anschlie%C3%9Fen-Bluetooth-Musik-System/dp/B01N6RVQJT und hier besonders die Rückseite anschaut wird man etwas stutzig was die Exklusivität der Marke angeht. Und siehe da, hinter beiden Geräten steckt die Shenzhen Lemeijia Technology, bei Lemega ist das Gerät dann eben "Enginieered in UK and assembled in China". So viel zum Hintergrund von "Numan". Aber was kann nun das Gerät, in diesem Fall war es das NUMAN Two 2.1. Zentraler Bestandteil des Gerätes ist ein Internetradiomodul von Frontier Silicon, das schon viele Hersteller aus dem Einsteigersegment für ihre Produkte verwendet haben. Zuletzt Silvercrest von LIDL in einem sehr günstigen Internetradio, was schon etwas darauf rückschließen lässt welchem Preissegment dieses Modul zuzuordnen ist. Zu erkennen sind Radios mit diesem Modul an dem selben Display und Menü, die Hersteller passen hier nur das Logo beim Start an, da alle Geräte zentral von Frontier Silicon über das Internet die gleiche Firmware beziehen. Funktional ist an diesem Modul erstmal nichts auszusetzen, es macht Spaß das Radio einzurichten, da einfach alles auf Anbieb funktioniert und auch die Bedienung über die Undok App, die allerdings etwas lieblos gestaltet ist, sehr einfach ist. Das obere Tastenfeld habe ich nicht einmal gebraucht. Da hier schon viel geschrieben wurde komme ich aber zu den negativen Punkten: Allen voran: der Klang! Das Marketing von Numan verspricht hier einen "brillianten Klang", von dem in der Praxis aber leider nichts zu hören ist. Out of the Box kling das Radion unglaublich stumpf, farblos, leblos, wie hinter einem dicken Vorhang. Das lässt sich minimal beheben indem man den Bass etwas zurücknimmt im EQ und die Höhen etwas hochnimmt. Das hellt den Klang etwas auf, vermag aber den allgemeinen Klangeindruck nicht eherblich zu verbessern. Der Klang ist maximal befriedigend, für anspruchslose, die einfach nur etwas Radioberieselung möchten, vielleicht auch gut. Aber das Gerät muss sich am eigenen Anspruch messen lassen, und hier tut sich eine ganz große Schere auf. Besonders bei geringerer Lautstärke, so bist Stufe 12, ist der Klang besonders dünn und flach, erst bei höherer Lautstärke bessert sich dieser deutlich. Immerhin ist das Radio sehr pegelstabil, die maximale Lautstärke ist ordentlich laut ohne zu übersteuern. Hier war ich sehr negativ überrascht, da ich von den wenigen vorhandenen Tests etwas anderes erwartet hätte. Doch die vorhandenen Tests kommen von wenig renommierten Internetseiten und siehe da, bei dem einzigen Test eines Magazins mit Ruf landet das Gerät auf dem letzten Platz von 6. Begründung: "Klang farblos". Hätte ich den vor dem Kauf schon gefunden... Das DAB Modul scheint einen Fehler zu haben, da es zwar alle 13 Sender des Kanals 5C findet, also die deutschlandweiten, aber keinen Sender der anderen Kanäle der regionalen Sender. 29 hätten es sein müssen. Zusammengefasst ist das Gerät nicht das, was uns das Marketing der Chal-Tec GmbH mit der Marke Numan und mit beigelegten Stoffhandschuhen weißmachen möchte. Das Gerät ist nichts besonderes, verschiedene Marken lassen das technisch gleiche Gerät in China mit eigenen Label drauf vom gleichen Hersteller produzieren. In ihm steckt ein Standardmodul der Einstiegsklasse, dass technisch aber tadellos funktioniert. Dass der Klang und der Empfang so schlecht sind lässt auf eher günstige Komponenten schließen, die um das Modul drumherum gebaut wurden. Das Gerät eigenet sich also für eher geringe Ansprüche für den Berieselungseinsatz in kleineren Räumen wo es nicht so auf den Hörgenuss ankommt. Dafür ist das Gerät aber zu teuer, daher ging es wieder zurück. Schade, da das Design echt gelungen ist, auch wenn es von Ruark Audio geklaut ist, deren Geräte jedoch mehr als das doppelte kosten.

The sound is maximally satisfying, but maybe good for the undemanding, who just want some radio broadcasting. But the device has to be measured against its own standards, and this is where a big gap opens up. Especially at lower volume levels, up to level 12, the sound is particularly thin and flat, and it only improves significantly at higher volume levels. At least the radio is very stable in level, the maximum volume is decently loud without overdriving. I was very negatively surprised here, as I would have expected something different from the few existing tests. But the existing tests come from less well-known websites and lo and behold, in the only test by a reputable magazine, the device came in last place out of 6. Reason: "colorless sound". If I had found it before I bought it... The DAB module seems to have an error, since it finds all 13 stations of channel 5C, i.e. the Germany-wide ones, but no stations of the other channels of the regional stations. It should have been 29. In summary, the device is not what the marketing of Chal-Tec GmbH would like us to believe with the Numan brand and the enclosed fabric gloves. The device is nothing special, different brands have the technically identical device produced in China with their own label on it by the same manufacturer. It contains a standard entry-level module that technically works perfectly. The fact that the sound and the reception are so bad suggests rather cheap components that were built around the module. The device is therefore suitable for rather low demands for sprinkler use in smaller rooms where listening pleasure is not so important. But the device is too expensive for that, so it went back again. It's a shame, because the design is really successful, even if it's stolen from Ruark Audio, whose devices cost more than twice as much.

Das Gerät wurde von der Firma Chal - Tec ( Alias Elekronik - Star ) aus Berlin, schneller als angegeben geliefert. Klasse. Supersicher verpackt, alles wichtige dabei. Fernbedienung, Batterien, Netzkabel, hochwertige Bedienungsanleitung. Auch die weißen Baumwollhandschuhe. Eventuell zum entstauben oder streicheln. Aufgestellt steht der wuchtige Brummer, sicher und rutschfest vor einem. Die leicht vorgewölbten Lautsprecherabdeckungen, schauen einen wie Insektenaugen an. Die Verarbeitung des Gehäuses wirkt sehr hochwertig, durchdacht und toll verarbeitet. Es macht Freude über das Walnussholzgehäuse zu streichen. Vom Design her Berliner Bauhaus. Eine Prise Tivoli, etwas Grace und eine Hand voll Ruark. Das Ganze im eigenen Stil und zu einem gerechten Preis. Aber wer hat den CD Schlitz gestaltet ? Bob der Baumeister ? Egal. Einschalten und los. Wer ein Smartphone zum laufen bringt, wird mit dem NUMAN Two keine Probleme haben. Ob Internetradio, FM, DAB +, CD oder USB, alles geht fix und unkompliziert. Spotify mit Premium Account möglich, habe ich aber nicht. Sehr schön die Darstellung auf dem Display. Die Bedienung erfolgt über ein Dreh - Drück Knopf Karussell auf der Oberseite, mit der kostenlosen Undok App, oder die Fernbedienung in sehr guter Qualität. Soundcheck. Vom Klang her kann das Gerät in leiser Gangart, bis Zimmerlautstärke nicht mit einem SANGEAN WR 11 mithalten ( und das spielt nur UKW/MW in mono ). Ab Zimmerlautstärke zeigt das NUMAN Two dann seine Power. Meine Ohren empfanden den Klang egal in welcher Einstellung ( sehr zahlreich ) oder Musikquelle, befriedigend bis gut. Manchmal auch sehr gut. Die Stärke des Gerätes liegt in der Möglichkeit, viele Abspielmöglichkeiten in einem noch bezahlbaren, toll verarbeiteten, schönen Gerät zu haben. Leider hatte mein Gerät ab dem 4. Betriebstag extreme Lautstärkeeinbrüche, Von z.B. Einstellung 16 auf sehr leise. Egal ob Internetradio, DAB+ oder CD Betrieb. Nach einigen Sekunden wieder volle Lautstärke um dann wieder einzubrechen. Das Ganze ständig wiederholend. Überprüfung von Netzkabel, W - Lan Check, aus und wieder einschalten brachten keine Besserung. Deshalb ging das Gerät wieder zurück zum Händler. Auch hier kann ich die Firma Chal -Tec loben. Sie sorgten freundlich und schnell für die Regulierung der defekten Ware, in Form einer Gutschrift. Drei Sterne weil das Gerät mir gefallen hat. Zwei Sterne Abzug, wegen der eingeschränkten Haltbarkeit.

Mit diesen drei Schlagwörtern könnte man das NUMAN Two am einfachsten charakterisieren und würde dabei doch noch einiges unberücksichtigt gelassen. Es handelt sich meiner persönlichen Meinung nach um ein Full-Size-Abspielungsgerät, welches für all die jenigen besonders interessant sein dürfte , die bereits einschlägige Erfahrungen mit Multifunktionalen Abspielern besitzen. Für Menschen, die lediglich DAB nutzen möchten, finde ich den NUMAN Two, schon etwas zu überambitioniert, da die Möglichkeiten sehr breit gestreut werden. Ich versuche das Gerät anhand der gängigsten Parameter einmal etwas überschaubarer zu beschreiben. Der Lieferumfang: Im Lieferumfang sind neben dem NUMAN Two noch eine Teleskopantenne, ein (austauschbares) Netzkabel, eine Fernbedienung sowie ein in Deutscher und englischer Sprache gehaltenes Benutzerhandbuch enthalten. Optik/Haptik: Das Gerät ist meiner Meinung nach ein absoluter Augenschmeichler, die Holzabdeckung sowie das Schnörkellose Design haben mich direkt angesprochen. Das sehr (auch von der Seite) gut ablesbare frontseitig befindliche TFT-Display von 2,8 Zoll, welches Informationen zu Sender, Titel etc. parat hält sowie das auf der Gehäuseoberkante gut ablesbare und auf Andruck reagierende Tastenfeld mit Scrollradfunktion, welche das "Browsen" innerhalb des Menüs ohne FB ermöglicht. Inbetriebnahme: Diese habe ich innerhalb von ca. 15 Minuten (incl. Kopplung meines Androidsmartphones) ohne Probleme durchführen können. Nach Verbindung mit dem Netzstecker führte ich das Softwareupdate sowie die Einbindung in das Heimnetzwerk über LAN-Kabel durch. Dies geht bei uns daheim erfahrungsgemäß etwas zügiger von der Hand als die ebenfalls durch das Setup Menü angebotene Einrichtung via W-LAN. Für die Einrichung der DAB bzw DAB + Sender beraucht man einfach nu den automatischen Suchlauf am Gerät durchzuführen. Direkt positiv ist mir hierbei die Möglichkeit der Einstellung von DRC aufgefallen (Audiodynamikkompression). Diese ermöglicht beim Anhören einiger DAB Sender den Lautstärkeumfang der Audiowiedergabe so auszugleichen, dass man ein durchgängig "harmonisiertes" Klangbild erzeugt bekommt. Für die Einbindung ins WLAN, welche wie bereits erwähnt ebenfalls möglich ist benötigt man lediglich den W-Lan-Schlüssel zur Hand und gibt den Key mittels der Fernbedienung ein, das System verbindet sich anschließend automatisch. Zeiteinstellung und Datum etc. werden über das Netzwerk übermittelt und stehen sogleich zur Verfügung. Nutzungsmöglichkeiten: Diese sind in der Tat "allumfassend", ich persönliche kenne derzeit kein Gerät welches eine so große Bandbreite an Abspiel- und Zuspielmöglichkeiten in einem vereint. Zu nennen wären hier folgende: Radiobetrieb: - Abspielbetrieb via FM mit herausragendem Empfang - Abspielbetrieb via DAB und DAB + - Internetradio Zuspiel-/Abspielbetieb: - Abspielung via Bluetooth von Smartphone/Tablet (erfordert die App "UNDOK aus Google Play Store oder ITunes-Store) - Musik-Streaming unter Win7, hier mittels Windows Mediaplayer (Der PC dient hier als Fernbedienung und Zuspieler auf das NUMAN Two) - Abspielung mittels Spotify Connect (setzt bestehendes Spotify Konto voraus. Ist dies der Fall kann via Smartphone, PC, Tablet etc. der Dienst am Radio genutzt werden) -Abspielung unter Einbindung in das Heimnetzwerk -Abspielung via USB-Stick -Abspielung mittels CD, hier können u. a. folgende Formate genutzt werden (Audio CD, MP3, WMA, CD-R und CD-RW) -Abspielung via AUX (Ipod, MP 3 Player etc.) Klang: Die klangliche Bandbreite bei solchen Geräten ist meiner Meinung nach ein absolut ausschlaggebender Kaufgrund und sollte hier unbedingtt mitberücksichtigt werden. Der NUMAN Two verfügt über eine integrierte Equalizerfunktion mit welcher das Radio entweder klanglichen Parametern wie Stilrichtung (Pop, Rock, Jazz, Fimmusik, Nachrichten, Normal etc.) oder aber den ganz eigenen akustischen Vorlieben eingestellt werden kann. Das Gerät liefert sowohl beim Hintergrundbetrieb als auch unter Volllast eine für meine Begriffe absolut hervorragende Wiedergabe ab. Sowohl der kraftvolle Bass, die verbauten Mitten und Höhen lassen Klangliebhaber mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit aufhorchen. Neben den bereits erwähnten Abspielmöglichkeiten verfügt das Gerät zudem noch über eine Weckerfunktion (2 parallel einstellbare Zeiten möglich) sowie eine Sleeptimer Funktion. Klasse Gehäuseverarbeitung Extrem Breites Konnektivitätsspektrum sehr gut ablesbares TFT Display sehr gute Mediant, Tiefen und Höhen Benutzerfreundliches Interface Möglichkeit des DRC im DAB bzw. DAB+ Betrieb Noch ein löbliches Wort zu dem mitgelieferten Handbuch: Ich habe mich schon oftmals über die irreführenden Beschreibungen und umständlichen Formulierungen innerhalb so manchen "Handlungsweiser" geärgert. Das hier mitgelieferte Handbuch macht dbzgl. alles richtig, indem es für Laien und Fortgeschrittenen gleichermaßen klare Handlungsempfehlungen und Anweisungen zum optimalen Betrieb ausspricht. Keine unnötigen Verklausulierungen und unverständlichen Diktate. Von meiner Seite aus hierzu ein dickes Lob! Mein Fazit: Ich lehne mich mal weit aus dem Fenster und behaupte, ich habe noch kein ähnlich kompaktes; beginnend von der Verarbeitung bis hin zu den Feinjustierungen der Abspielung hochwertigeres DAB Radio kennen gelernt. Ich bin eigentlich ein bekennender ROBERTS RADIO UK Fan, muss aber hier feststellen, dass die NUMAN Serie mindestens auf Augenhöhe, wenn nicht sogar mit dem NUMAN Two sich an die Spitze der Abspielgeräte gesetzt hat. *Noch ein wichtiger Hinweis zum Schluss: Das NUMAN Two wurde mir kostenlos vom Anbieter zwecks Test und schriftlicher Abgabe einer Produktbewertung hier auf Amazon überlassen. Sämtliche gemachten Aussagen und Feststellungen beruhen auf meinen eigenen selbst gemachten Feststellungen mit dem Gerät welche ich innerhalb der letzten 7 Tage machen konnte*
