Dabstar Digital Radio

Wenn man im Schlafzimmer zum Beispiel eine Stereoanlage stehen hat, die schon die besten Jahre hinter sich hat, kann man diese um das AUNA DABSTAR DAB/DAB+ DIGITALRADIO erweitern. Ich finde das eine Klasse Idee, denn das Radio ist zudem auch noch ein Wecker und man kann das ganze auf dem Nachttisch stellen und so mit dem gewünschten Musiksender geweckt werden. Mit im Lieferumfang dabei ist neben dem digitalem Radio auch noch eine Fernbedienung, 1 Klinken-Line-Kabel, 1 Klinken-Antennen-Kabel, 1 Netzteil und eine Anleitung in Englisch und Deutsch. Das Gerät selbst ist richtig schön klein und flach gehalten mit den Maßen von 13,5 x 9 x 4 cm. Es passt also wirklich in jede kleine Ecke. Auf der Vorderseite hat man zum einen den Infrarot Sensor und das LCD Display. Das Display ist auch richtig schön groß und man kann alles sehr gut erkennen darauf. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich sämtliche Anschlüsse sowie der Ein- und Ausschalter. Hier befindet sich der Line Out Anschluss, der Antennenanschluss und der Anschluss für das Netzteil. Alles liegt weit genug auseinander, so dass man ohne Probleme heran kommt. Mit er Fernbedienung kann ich die Weckzeit einstellen, lauter und leiser stellen, den Sendersuchlauf starten, die Sender speichern und vieles mehr. In der Anleitung ist aber genau beschrieben welche taste welche Funktion hat. Ich habe das Radio am Netzteil angeschlossen und das Gerät auf der Rückseite eingeschaltet. Im Display leuchtete auch sofort 00:00 auf und ich konnte loslegen. In die Fernbedienung kommen 2 x AAA-Batterien rein, die im Lieferumfang nicht dabei sind, aber die man eigentlich immer zu Hause hat. Ich habe das Radio angeschaltet und in den DAB Modus gestellt. Und schon begann die Sendersuche. Ich habe auch die Möglichkeit Manuell den Sendersuchlauf zu starten. Aber das dauert natürlich immer etwas länger. Natürlich sollte man das ganze vorher noch an einer Stereoanlage anschließen, da dieses Radio nicht über integrierte Lautsprecher verfügt. Auf dem Display wird die Senderfrequenz angezeigt, der Name des Senders und auch Uhrzeit und Datum. Ich habe die Möglichkeit hier 20 Sender zu speichern und zwar 10 FM Sender und 10 DAB Sender. Das speichern geht auch ganz einfach und ist in der Anleitung auch ausführlich beschrieben, so dass jeder Laie es hin bekommt. Das Speichern war schnell erledigt und ich habe meine Lieblingssender alle nach vorne gelegt, so dass ich sie nur noch mit Speicherplatz Nummer auswählen muss, wenn ich ihn hören möchte. Alle Sender kommen auch klar und deutlich rüber, kein Rauschen oder irgendwelche Störungen. Ich hatte es bei viele kleinen Weckern schon, dass die Sender nicht richtig rein kamen und man mehr ein Rauschen als alles andere hatte, aber das ist hier nicht der Fall. Richtig Klasse finde ich natürlich auch den Wecker. Hier kann ich entscheiden ob ich über einen Radiosender geweckt werden möchte, also mit Musik oder mit einem Piepton. Mit den Pfeiltasten kann ich die Uhrzeit und auch die Weckzeit einstellen und das ganze speichern. Nun muss ich noch auswählen ob ich den Alarm täglich haben möchte, nur von Montag bis Freitag, nur am Wochenende und nur an einem Tag. Die Auswahl finde ich schon mal gelungen, denn so muss ich nicht jeden Tag daran denken den Wecker zu stellen. Ich habe hier auch die Möglichkeit zwei verschiedene Alarme einzustellen. Zum abschalten muss ich einfach nur die dementsprechende Taste ""Alarm 1 oder 2"" drücken. Das Radio hat auch eine Sleep Funktion. Auch nicht schlecht, wenn man mit Musik einschlafen möchte. Der Klang ist richtig gut und ich kann nichts negatives feststellen bisher. Alles läuft Einwandfrei, das Radio sowie auch die Fernbedienung. Das Radio ist schön klein, das Display ist blau beleuchtet und lässt sich auch dimmen, so dass es in der Nacht nicht stört und ich kann nur fünf Sterne dafür vergeben.

The display is also really big and you can see everything very well on it. On the back you have all the connections as well as the on and off switch. This is where you will find the line out connection, the antenna connection and the connection for the power adapter. Everything is far enough apart that you can reach it without any problems. With the remote control I can set the alarm time, turn the volume up or down, start the station search, save the stations and much more. The instructions describe exactly which button has which function. I connected the radio to the power supply and switched on the device on the back. 00:00 immediately lit up on the display and I was ready to go. The remote control takes 2 x AAA batteries, which are not included in the delivery but which you usually have at home. I switched the radio on and set it to DAB mode. And the station search started. I also have the option of starting the station search manually. But of course that always takes a bit longer. Of course you should connect the whole thing to a stereo system beforehand, as this radio does not have integrated speakers. The display shows the station frequency, the name of the station and also the time and date. I have the option of saving 20 stations here: 10 FM stations and 10 DAB stations. Saving is also very easy and is described in detail in the instructions so that even a layman can do it. Saving was done quickly and I put all my favorite stations at the front so that I only have to select them by memory location number when I want to listen to them. All stations come through clearly and distinctly, no noise or interference of any kind. I have had the problem with many small alarm clocks that the stations didn't come through properly and there was more noise than anything else, but that is not the case here. I also think the alarm clock is really great. Here I can decide whether I want to be woken up by a radio station, with music or with a beep. I can use the arrow keys to set the time and the alarm time and save the whole thing. Now I have to choose whether I want the alarm to be set daily, only from Monday to Friday, only at the weekend and only on one day. I think the selection is already good because it means I don't have to remember to set the alarm every day. I also have the option of setting two different alarms here. To turn it off, I just have to press the corresponding button "Alarm 1 or 2". The radio also has a sleep function. Not bad if you want to fall asleep with music. The sound is really good and I can't find anything negative so far. Everything works perfectly, the radio as well as the remote control. The radio is nice and small, the display is illuminated in blue and can also be dimmed so that it doesn't disturb you at night and I can only give it five stars.

Le radio digitali iniziano ad imporsi sul mercato, e oltre alle varie caratteristiche tecniche e tecnologiche che le distinguono, finalmente si inizia a prestare attenzione anche al design e alle dimensioni. Auna radio Dabstar è un piccolo gioiellino di tecnologia che si sposa alla perfezione con un design minimal, lineare e moderno, e vanta dimensioni compatte. La confezione, essenziale e spartana, contiene la radio digitale, il telecomando, il cavo di alimentazione, il cavo per la connessione con un impianto audio, il cavo dell’antenna e il manuale di istruzioni in lingua tedesca e inglese. Ma non temete: l’utilizzo è intuitivo e molto semplice. Come potete notare dalla foto, la radio digitale ha dimensioni ridotte, assolutamente priva di tasti su tutti i lati. Questa è una scelta che ho apprezzato molto in quanto la linearità e la pulizia del design non vengono intaccate in nessun modo, e si può governare la radio attraverso il telecomando. Posteriormente sono presenti il tasto di accensione e spegnimento, l’ingresso per l’alimentatore di rete, l’ingresso per l’antenna e i cavetti per il collegamento con l’impianto audio. Una volta collegata la radio digitale con una cassa, si può passare all’accensione. Il sistema digitale DAB/DAB+ inizia a fare automaticamente lo scanning per impostare automaticamente l’ora, la data e la lingua. Tramite il telecomando è possibile scegliere e importare la lingua (italiano disponibile, oltre a molte altre), oltre all’ora e data se il segnale DAB non fosse ancora disponibile nella vostra zona di residenza, tramite segnale radio FM. Contro ogni aspettativa, il segnale radio digitale è molto buono nella mia casa, e la radio Auna ha fatto tutto da sola. Le stazioni radio si impostano da sole esattamente come il segnale orario, col segnale DAB la qualità audio è digitale e molto simile a quella dei compact disc, pulita e senza fruscii. Ma anche in modalità FM la qualità audio risulta molto buona. Si possono impostare due sveglie e lo sleep time, che consiste nel rendere minima l’illuminazione del display durante un orario prestabilito. Questa soluzione è molto valida per chi ha necessità di posizionare Auna radio Dabstar in camera da letto in quanto la luce blu è molto intensa e potrebbe disturbare il sonno delle persone sensibili alla luce. Sono molto soddisfatta della mia prima esperienza con una radio digitale con sistema DAB/DAB+ sia per la qualità audio sia per l’uso intuitivo e semplice, oltre che per la bellezza dell’oggetto.

On the back there is the on/off button, the input for the mains power supply, the input for the antenna and the cables for connection to the audio system. Once the digital radio has been connected to a speaker, you can switch it on. The DAB/DAB+ digital system automatically starts scanning to automatically set the time, date and language. Using the remote control it is possible to choose and import the language (Italian available, as well as many others), as well as the time and date if the DAB signal is not yet available in your area of residence, via FM radio signal. Against all expectations, the digital radio signal is very good in my house, and the Auna radio did it all by itself. The radio stations set themselves exactly like the time signal, with the DAB signal the audio quality is digital and very similar to that of compact discs, clean and without hiss. But even in FM mode the audio quality is very good. You can set two alarms and the sleep time, which consists of minimizing the display lighting during a pre-established time. This solution is very valid for those who need to place the Auna Dabstar radio in the bedroom as the blue light is very intense and could disturb the sleep of people sensitive to light. Auna è un marchio che la fa da padrona nel settore audio-musicale. Essendo un amante delle radio FM/Digitali ho deciso di dare fiducia ad Auna acquistando questo prodotto (già in passato ho acquistato altri prodotti Auna e devo dire che è un marchio che mi da tante soddisfazioni in termini di rapporto qualità/prezzo). All'interno della confezione troviamo la seguente componentistica: -Auna Dabstar DAB/DAB+ radio digitale AM/FM -Un alimentatore da 1A/5V per poter alimentare il nostro dispositivo -Un cavo per l'antenna e un cavo per poter collegare degli altoparlanti -Un elegante e comodo telecomando per pilotare la radio a distanza -Una comoda guida utente in lingua inglese e tedesca La radio dal punto di vista estetico è caratterizzata dall'avere dimensioni molto ridotte e una qualità costruttiva al di sopra della media, tenendo conto ovviamente anche del prezzo di vendita. L'utilizzo di questo dispositivo è pratico ed immediato, infatti basterà semplicemente effettuare i dovuti cablaggi e premere l'interruttore situato nella parte posteriore per accendere il device. Una volta acceso possiamo stabilire se utilizzarlo in modalità FM o se utilizzarlo in modalità DAB, per chi non lo sapesse il DAB è il sistema di radiodiffusione digitale che permette la trasmissione sonora di programmi radiofonici con qualità paragonabile a quella di un compact disc. Personalmente ho testato questo dispositivo in entrambe le modalità e devo ammettere che la qualità audio eccelle in entrambi i casi. In definitiva non posso che consigliare questa radio a tutti coloro che desiderano avere non solo una radio FM ma anche DAB/DAB+

From an aesthetic point of view, the radio is characterized by having very small dimensions and an above-average construction quality, obviously also taking into account of the selling price. The use of this device is practical and immediate, in fact it will simply be enough to carry out the necessary wiring and press the switch located on the back to turn on the device. Once turned on we can decide whether to use it in FM mode or whether to use it in DAB mode. For those who don't know, DAB is the digital radio broadcasting system that allows the sound transmission of radio programs with quality comparable to that of a compact disc. I personally tested this device in both modes and I must admit that the audio quality excels in both cases. Si tratta di un componente di integrazioni per impianti hi-fi. E' un sintonizzatore FM + DAB che integra funzione di radio sveglia. La dotazione comprende il telecomando che è l'unico strumento di iterazione. Si possono ricercare le stazioni, impostare gli orari e le sveglie (due in dotazione), settare lo sleep time. L'orario di default si imposta tramite la stazione DAB o FM quindi in caso di mancanza di segnale DAB è necessario impostare in manuale l'orario. La ricezione è buona può essere migliorata connettendo un antenna esterna come nel mio caso. In Italia attualmente la situazione DAB non è e delle migliori quindi bisognerà aspettare lo switch off. Intanto ci si può predisporre un proprio impianto con un ricevitore come questo che è già pronto per quando ci sarà il passaggio. Il prodotto in se è costruito molto bene, materiali e assemblaggi sono di prim'ordine. Nella configurazione si può scegliere la lingua italiana e tutti i controlli sono intuitivi.
