Für unseren alten Küchenschrank und auf dem Balkon suchten wir ein passendes Radio und sind hier fündig geworden. Sowohl Optik als auch Größe passen und auch die Verarbeitung ist augenscheinlich gut. Nachdem es nur für den Balkon gedacht ist und keine Partybeschallung geplant ist, haben wir an die Lauts keine großen Anforderungen. Die Tonqualität sollte aber dennoch passen. In Stil / Form und der gesamten Aufmachung gleicht es einem Radio der 1960er-Jahre, die Ausstattung ist aber genau das Gegenteil, sie ist modern und auf dem neusten Stand. Neben UKW-Sendern empfängt es das digitale DAB+ Programme. Es spielt CDs ab und per Bluetooth kann das Smartphone angezapft werden. Über den USB Anschluss spielt es MP3 Dateien vom USB-Sticks ab, gekoppelt mit einem Echo Dot wird es sogar Alexa fähig. DAB+ Radio oder Songs von CD können als MP3 Datei auf über den USB-Port auf einem USB-Stick gespeichert und digitalisiert werden. Verbaut ist eine Stabantenne die für ausreichenden UKW Radioempfang sorgt, Radio höre ich jedoch fast ausschließöich über DAB+. Endlich ist das Digitalradio auch bei "günstigeren" Geräten angekommen. Das Auna Columbia ist mit zwei Lautsprecher ausgestattet, die mit 60 Watt vom Radio versorgt werden. Diese Sorgen für einen, der Größe entsprechend guten Stereosound. Ein gesonderter equilizer ist nicht verbaut, stattdessen erfolgt die Klanganpassungen über fest eingestellte Modi (Pop, Klassik, Rock, Jazz). Bei der Fernbedieunung handelt es sich um eine "normale" Fernbedienung und nicht wie leider mitlerweile üblich um eine im Scheckkartenformat. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und auch das nervige Senderspeichern und einstellen geht nach ein zwei mal bedienen gut von der Hand. Das Display zeigt alle benötigten Informationen an und ist auch bei Sonne gut ablesbar. We were looking for a suitable radio for our old kitchen cupboard and for the balcony and found one here. Both the look and size are right and the workmanship is also apparently good. Since it is only intended for the balcony and no party sound is planned, we do not have great demands on the speakers. The sound quality should still be good, however. In terms of style/shape and overall presentation, it resembles a radio from the 1960s, but the equipment is exactly the opposite - it is modern and up to date. In addition to FM stations, it receives digital DAB+ programs. It plays CDs and can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. It plays MP3 files from USB sticks via the USB port, and when paired with an Echo Dot it even becomes Alexa-capable. DAB+ radio or songs from CDs can be saved and digitized as MP3 files on a USB stick via the USB port. A rod antenna is installed which ensures sufficient FM radio reception, but I almost exclusively listen to the radio via DAB+. Digital radio has finally arrived on "cheaper" devices. The Auna Columbia is equipped with two speakers that are supplied with 60 watts from the radio. These ensure a good stereo sound, in keeping with its size. There is no separate equalizer built in, instead the sound adjustments are made using preset modes (pop, classical, rock, jazz). The remote control is a "normal" remote control and not, as is unfortunately now common, one in credit card format. The operation is intuitive and even the annoying process of storing and setting stations is easy to handle after a couple of uses. The display shows all the information you need and is easy to read even in sunlight.
