Like other buyers, I did find the lid has curved a little in time, but is hasn't made much difference. I personally found the lid is missing a handle, a few times I dropped the lid in to the tin, then it became stuck... now we have put a knob on top, it is much easier to get the lid on and off. All in all its a good buy, I would buy again. Lovely design.

Die Brotbox ist aus lackiertem Metall und wirklich gut verarbeitet, es gibt keine Laufnasen oder unschöne Macken. Optisch ist sie ein absoluter Hingucker und ein Highlight in der Küche, wenn man auf Retro steht. In Kombination mit dem Bambusdeckel -der gut schließt und festsitzt, aber trotzdem die Luftzirkulation gewährleistet- finde ich das Material und das Design sehr gut gewählt. Ein normaler Brotlaib passt hinein und ist um Tage länger frisch als in der Brottüte. Auch bei höherer Luftfeuchtigkeit in der Küche schimmelt nichts. Ich benutze den Deckel als Schneidbrett, eventuelle Schnitte im Holz sind ja auf der Innenseite, man sieht sie also nicht. Grade für kleine Küchen finde ich diese Lösung super. Meine Schwägerin findet die Box auch ganz toll und möchte sie für das Frühstücksbüffet ihrer kleinen Pension kaufen -ich fände sie auch als Blumentopf sehr hübsch Klare Kaufempfehlung!

I use the lid as a cutting board, any cuts in the wood are on the inside, so you can't see them. I think this solution is great for small kitchens. My sister-in-law also thinks the box is great and would like to buy it for the breakfast buffet of her small pension - I would also find it very pretty as a flower pot. Clear recommendation to buy!

In Sachen Optik und Haptik gefällt mir die Box sehr gut, da die ausgewählten Materialien stimmig sind und in der Verarbeitung sind keinerlei ersichtlichen Makel zu entdecken. Was ich etwas schade finde ist, dass es keine Dichtung hat. Das öffnen und auch das wieder verschlissen hackt etwas, jedoch sollte sich das mit der Zeit geben.

Die Dose sieht nicht cool aus, ist sondern groß und es hat Platz für ein ganzes Brot. Wer kennt es nicht wie soll man nun das Brot halten, das es noch am nächsten Tag genießbar ist. Wir holen immer frisches Brot vom Bäcker und wollen es solange wie möglich halten. Mit so einer Dose kann das Brot länger als sonst gehalten werden und bleibt frisch. Die Dose ist große und der Deckel aus Holz hat einem guten Halt und gibt kaum Luft ab. Der Deckel soll als Schneidebrett dienen, was wir aber nicht nutzen, wär auch zu schade dafür.

Durch diesen Brotkasten wird mein Brot nun eine Woche frisch gehalten und schimmelt nicht mehr. Das Bambusbrett das als Abdeckung dient, wird bei mir als Schneidebrett benutzt. Fazit: Diese Brotbox ist ein Schmuckstück in meiner Küche.

Der Brotkasten ist schön groß und geräumig, darin finden auch richtig große Brote Platz. Das Unterteil ist aus lackiertem Metall, der Aufdruck befindet sich nur auf der Vorderseite. Besonders gut finde ich den Deckel aus Bambusholz. Er liegt nur lose auf, das Holz ist glatt und beide Seiten können zum Schneiden des Brotes verwendet werden. Eigentlich ist der Deckel dafür aber zu schade. Mir gefällt der Kasten vom Design her sehr gut, Qualität und Verarbeitung stimmen ebenfalls.

Sehr schöne Brotbox, die fast ein wenig Retro anmutet. Bestehend aus einem Emalie-Körper und einem Deckel aus Bambus, der gleichzeitig als Servierplatte oder Schneidebrett genutzt werden kann. Am Deckel fehlt mir eine kleine Griffmulde zum besseren Anheben des Deckels. Dann wäre es perfekt. Gute Luftzirkulation, so das Brot und Brötchen länger frisch bleiben und nicht hart werden. Die Box ist vielseitig einsetzbar, nicht nur für Brot, sondern auch für viele andere Dinge zum aufbewahren.

Mit ein wenig Vorsicht ist diese Brotbox eine tolle Sache. Vorsicht weil die Box aus Metall ist und bei etwas ruppiger Behandlung vermutlich schnell eine Beule weg hat. Das Schneidebrett als Deckel finde ich - gerade in meiner kleinen Küche - wirklich super! Mein selbstgebackenes Brot hält sich in der Box durchaus bemerkbar länger. Auch ist die Box optisch sehr ansprechend. Daher bekommt sie einen Stammplatz in meiner Küche direkt neben dem Brotbackautomat.

Die Frontansicht ist mittig weiß gestaltet, hier sind kleine Backwaren abgebildet. Der Deckel ist aus Bambus, liegt nur auf und kann auch gleichzeitig als Aufschnittbrett genutzt werden. Hier sollte man besser die Deckelinnenseite nutzen, damit man keine unschönen Schnitte sieht. Die Brotbox kann nicht nur in der Küche dekorativ aufgestellt werden, man kann sie auch direkt auf den Frühstücks- bzw. Abendessen-Tisch stellen. An der Verarbeitung haben wir nichts auszusetzen. Fazit: Uns gefällt diese Box sehr gut, die Backwaren werden hier gut vor dem Austrocknen geschützt.

Die Brotbox besticht durch eine tolle und edele Optik. Sie ist qualitativ sehr schön gefertigt und macht als Aufbewahrungsbox für Brot echt was her. Besonders schön finde ich den aus Bambus, passgenau gefertigten Deckel, der der ganzen Box eine ganz besondere Optik gibt.

Eine tolle Idee: Eine Brotbox mit Schneidbrett als Deckel! Der Brotkasten hat ein für ein normales großes Brot ein ideales Format. Es passen zusätzlich auch noch ein paar andere Backwaren hinein. Das Design finde ich sehr gelungen, es passt gut in die unsere Küche. Ich habe auch noch einen kleineren Brotkasten vom selben Hersteller mit dem selben Design und bin auch mit diesem sehr zufrieden. Den Bambusdeckel, der als Schneidebrett verwenden werden kann, ist dick genug, dass er sich nicht verzieht. Der Deckel kann verwacklungsfrei auf die Brotdose gemacht werden, da er nicht einfach nur darauf liegt, sondern in der Dose einrastet. Das Ganze macht einen stabilen, robusten Eindruck und ist dennoch leicht und wird sicher lange Zeit halten. Schade, dass er unten keine kleinen Gummi- oder Silikonfüße oder Ähnliches hat, denn dann wäre er rutschsicherer auf der Küchenarbeitsplatte. Aber es geht auch so. Früher hatten wir unser Brot immer einfach in der Bäckertüte aufbewahrt. Ich denke, im Brotkasten wird es vielleicht etwas länger frisch bleiben, habe aber dazu noch keine Langzeiterfahrung. Dass es gar nicht mehr austrocknet oder nicht schimmelt, halte für übertrieben, denn das tut jedes Brot irgendwann einmal, egal, wie man es aufbewahrt.

Ob ich dies tun werde, weiß ich noch nicht, denn möglicherweise sieht er dann durch die Schneidemesser abgenutzter aus. Aber als Brotablage wird er bestimmt genutzt werden. Es passt so einiges rein in die Brotbox. Und die beiden Henkel erweisen sich auch als nützlich zum tragen. Das Material , Metallblech, kommt mir etwas dünnwandig vor. Ich befürchte, wenn man nicht vorsichtig umgeht mit der Box, könnten Dellen entstehen. Sollte dies der Fall sein, werde ich es hier nachmelden. Eigentlich bin ich mit der Verarbeitung zufrieden. Nur der Bodenrand, wo der Boden mit den Außenwänden zusammenstößt , ist unschön verarbeitet. Das finde ich schade. 1 Stern Abzug

Die bambuswald Brotbox kam zwar in einer anderen Farbe (schwarz) als bestellt (beige), aber für einen Test ist das ja egal. Die Optik ist Landhaus-Stil - emailliertes Metall mit dezenter Verzierung, zwei Henkeln seitlich. Obenauf ist ein Bambusdeckel, der zugleich Schneidbrett sein kann. Das würde ich persönlich aber so nicht nutzen, weil ich dann eine Brotbox habe mit optisch sichtbaren Schneidspuren innen, da nehme ich lieber ein extra Bambus-Küchenbrett ;-) Der Deckel hat keinen Silikondichtring, was auch sinnvoll ist, denn Brotaufbewahrung gelingt nur in einem Behältnis, dass atmungsaktiv ist. Ich hatte mal eine Brotbox komplett aus Metall gekauft - die hatte zwar hinten ein paar Luftlöcherchen, das Brot schimmelte trotzdem darin. Brötchen und Brot enthalten Wasser, das es so lange wie möglich zu bewahren gilt. Lagert Brot ungeschützt entweicht die Feuchtigkeit innerhalb weniger Tage und es wird trocken. Was bewirkt ein Brotkasten? Durch einen Brotkasten wird verhindert, dass die Feuchtigkeit zu schnell entweicht und das Brot somit länger frisch bleibt. Ein guter Brotkasten verlängert die Haltbarkeit bis zu einer Woche. Auf keinen Fall darf Brot in einer Plastiktüte im Brotkasten liegen. Es empfiehlt sich, das geschnittene Brot aus dem Supermarkt in eine Papiertüte umzupacken oder zumindest die Plastiktüte weit offen zu lassen, damit sich die Feuchtigkeit nicht darin sammeln kann. Brot vom Bäcker sollte man in der Tüte belassen. Der Holzdeckel und die nicht vorhandene Dichtung bei der bambuswald Brotbox bietet genau die Atmungsaktivität, die Brot braucht. Das Brot hält sich darin sehr gut! Für einen Zweipersonen-Haushalt ist die Box schon etwas überdimensioniert, aber für 3-5 Personen perfekt. Ich glaube, die Firma hat auch noch kleinere Brotboxen, da lohnt sich ein Blick, wenn es etwas kleiner sein darf. Hübsch und zweckmäßig!

Da mein alter Brotkasten nun ausgedient hat, habe ich mir folgendes Produkt schicken lassen: "bambuswald© Brotbox aus Metall mit ökologischem Deckel aus Bambus - ca 40x21x16cm | Brotkasten für Croissants, Brot o. Brötchen | Brotbehälter mit Küchenbrett | Aufbewahrung Vorratdose Brotdose" Die Blechdose ist relativ gut gemacht und nahezu perfekt lackiert, weswegen ich jedoch keinen Stern abziehe. Herkunft = Fehlanzeige, wahrscheinlich Fernost, da Tradingfirma. Die Tragegriffe sind stabil und reißen bei voller Beladung nicht ab. Der Bambusdeckel, bzw. das Holzbrett sitzt und passt einwandfrei, die Spaltmaße sind nur ganz minimal. Als Schneidebrett würde ich den Deckel jedoch nicht verwenden, damit er so bleibt wie er ist. PS: Ich finde, die Blechdose eignet sich auch sehr gut für das Hotel- und Gaststättengewerbe, um das Frühstück angemessen zu präsentieren oder dem Gast eine Überraschung feilzubieten.

Die Box ist schön, auf retro gemacht. Ich habe die Beigevariante. Sie ist groß und der Ein-Pfund Laib passt prima hinein. Ich kaufe meist kleine Laiber und lieber öfters ein neues Brot. Das Brot ist gut aufbewahrt und bleibt frisch. Der Deckel ist zugleich ein Schneidbrett. Dafür ist er mir aber viel zu schade. Bambus ist ein tolles Material, welches ich gerne kaufe und nutze. Die Box ist aus Metall und hat zwei Henkel. Optisch ist die Box ein Hingucker, sie ist sehr sauber verarbeitet. Gefällt mir gut, sowohl in Bezug auf das Design als auch auf die Praxistauglichkeit. Nachtrag: Ich war einige Tage weg, das alte Brot lag noch drin. Es war immer noch essbar, also feucht und es hatte keinen Schimmel. Klasse.

The bread stays fresh in the box for a week - just like the first day. I also really like the retro design and the illustration on the front, a real eye-catcher in the kitchen. And with the two side handles, the box can be easily transported. I can definitely recommend this bix.
