With the Unison Retrospective Edition, NUMAN's retro loudspeaker series takes the next step: In the usual high-quality mechanical design, the universal receiver unites the loudspeaker system to form a complete home system. Thanks to optimised presets, it supports and refines the warm and dynamic sound image. Of course, the Unison has also been designed for customer-oriented personalisation and is available in the three matching enclosure colours of the speakers. Just as it pleases and fits best.

At the same time, NUMAN does not fail to elegantly blend modern technology with the retro look: a 2.8" TFT colour display and the options for operation via the control panel on the top, by remote control or with the smartphone via the "UNDOK" app from Frontier Silicon open up the possibilities of the universal receiver in no time at all.

The discreet and simple retro look of the NUMAN Unison makes design-savvy hearts beat faster. The technology inside the all-in-one receiver will convince audiophile music lovers. In addition to an integrated CD player, which plays the most popular CD formats such as audio, WMA and MP3 CDs as well as CD-R and CD-RW, there is also a USB port for connecting mass storage devices and the option of wireless connection via Bluetooth.

In addition, the NUMAN Unison is a veritable world receiver that not only receives Internet radio stations, but also DAB+ and FM stations with the internal or external antenna. By connecting to the home network, up to 40 million tracks can also be streamed directly via Spotify Connect. The connection to additional hi-fi equipment for the home system has also been thought of: two AUX inputs and a phono input for connecting the record player are available on the back.

The positioning of the NUMAN Unison All-in-One receiver is particularly unique thanks to the integration of a powerful amplifier that delivers an output power of 2 x 40 W RMS to the connected speakers. Finally, the possibility of signal forwarding for a subwoofer, which is connected to the rear of the Unison, has also been considered.

NUMAN’s Retrospective 1979 S is a full-featured two-way speaker with many talents. This compact musical device does not remotely leave out musical qualities and versatility: whether as a wall speaker, or a shelf speaker, in HiFi operation or in the background of a respective home cinema ensemble.

Dynamic, self-assured and powerful-sounding

CONVINCING INTERIOR

Despite its compact size, the passive membrane construction with a 10 cm (4”) woofer enables surprisingly good bass possibilities. The 10 cm (4”) midrange, tweeter with silk dome and a sophisticated crossover ensure a balanced sound image and true playback pleasure.

Thanks to its excellent near-field properties, the 1979 S is also ideal as a desktop and bookshelf speaker, and in operation as a wall speaker it benefits from its clearly accentuated bass response.

The 1979 S is particularly interesting for all cinema fans and lovers of multi-channel sound formats, as it can be used as a satellite speaker expansion to completely open new surround sound perspectives and expand HiFi combination possibilities. Due to its precise response and excellent sound level for its size, the 1979 S sounds amazingly lively.
