What may seem at first glance to be a beautiful retro suitcase from the 1950s is actually the new Peggy Sue portable turntable from the Nostalgy by auna series. The device not only plays three different record sizes, it also gives you the possibility of converting the music from your personal favourite records into a compact digital format.
To this end, the device features a rear USB port, with which the LP signal can be easily sent on to a computer - the right connection cable and the necessary software (‘Audacity’) for USB-PC encoding are included. This can also simultaneously power the Nostalgy by auna Peggy Sue turntable. An appropriate USB cable and USB power adapter for connection to AC power is supplied with delivery.
The Nostalgy by auna Peggy Sue record player requires no additional speakers, as the smart case houses two built-in stereo speakers. Nevertheless, the turntable offers the possibility of connecting external speakers or stereo systems via the rear stereo RCA line output.The volume can be infinitely adjusted directly on the device via a rotary control.
A special highlight: the Peggy Sue record player comes in a robust MDF design case with cream-coloured synthetic leather covering, fittings in brass look, clip closure and carrying handle. This makes for not only a visually stunning design in a retro look, but allows you to take the record player along with you anywhere - for example, to an atmospheric nostalgia picnic in the garden.

Hört sich an wie ein modernes Grammphon ist auch so gewollt,nicht schlecht,nur die Schellackplatte lief den ersten moment dann rutschte die Nadel über die gesammte platte,was kann das sein?
Sounds like a modern gramphone is also wanted, not bad, only the shellac record ran for the first moment, then the needle slipped over the entire record, what can that be?
Man bekommt was man bezahlt: Für nicht mal 50 Euro (in Worten: Fünfzig) macht der Plattenspieler was er soll. Die Optik allein ist das Geld wert, denn der kleine und leichte Koffer könnte auch mittels Flux-Kompensator und DeLorean aus dem Jahr 1955 importiert worden sein. Die Mini-Lautsprecher auf der Frontseite sind das schwächste Glied in der Kette, denn sie lassen die Bässe einfach weg. Lösung: Über den rückseitigen Cinch-Ausgang kann man das Audio-Signal zusätzlich (oder ausschließlich wenn man die Lautstärke runterdreht) in eine Aktivbox routen, die dann die fehlenden Frequenzen übernimmt. Das klingt dann gar nicht mehr so übel! Auch der Kopfhörerausgang klingt satt und beim Abhören mittels dieseem sind die Mini-Speaker (zum Glück) stummgeschaltet. FAZIT: Kein Klangwunder, aber dafür echt Retro (-:
You get what you pay for: for less than 50 euros (in words: fifty) the record player does what it is supposed to. The optics alone are worth the money, because the small and light case could also have been imported using a flux capacitor and DeLorean from 1955. The mini speakers on the front are the weakest link in the chain, because they simply leave out the bass. Solution: Via the cinch output on the back, you can also route the audio signal (or only if you turn down the volume) to an active box, which then takes over the missing frequencies. That doesn't sound so bad anymore! The headphone output also sounds full and when listening through it, the mini speakers are (fortunately) muted. CONCLUSION: Not a miracle of sound, but really retro (-:
Absolut störend war, dass ich sehr aufwendig und zeitraubend und auf meine eigene Gefahr (evt.Garantieverlust) selbst "reparieren" musste, um die Funktion herzustellen. Der kleine Tellerlaufgurt lag lose im Plattenkasten, den ich mit großer Mühe anbringen musste.
What was absolutely annoying was that I had to "repair" myself in a very complex and time-consuming manner and at my own risk (possibly loss of guarantee) in order to restore the function. The small disk running belt was lying loose in the plate case, which I had to attach with great difficulty.

Ausstattung und Verarbeitung sind gut. Die Lautsprecher haben keinen guten Klang kann aber an Stereoanlage angeschlossen werden.
Equipment and workmanship are good. The speakers don't have a good sound but can be connected to a stereo system.

Wir waren doch etwas überrascht! Der auna Peggy Sue Plattenspieler ist absolut baugleich mit dem Denver VPL-120 welchen wir schon besitzen. Nur der Namenszug ist verschieden. Daher sollten auch die Ersatznadeln kompartibel sein. Zudem kann ich mir die verschiedenen Kundenbewertungen nicht erklären,da es sich eindeutig um das gleiche Gerät handelt.

Leider hat der erste kein Piepser von sich gegeben. Als Geschenk zu Weihnachten war das eher bescheiden. Der Austausch hat zu lange gedauert. Ging direkt über den Verkäufer. Amazon kann das wesentlich besser. Der zweite war aber technisch ok. Für das Geld darf man natürlich kein HighEnd Gerät erwarten. Ist ein echt netter Koffer/Plattenspieler.
Unfortunately the first one didn't beep. As a Christmas present, it was rather modest. The exchange took too long. Went directly to the seller. Amazon can do that much better. The second was technically ok. Of course, you shouldn't expect a high-end device for the money. It's a really nice suitcase/turntable.
leider funktioniert es nicht....hoffe nun auf neues Gerät. Lieferung sehr gut verpackt, pünktlich...jedoch keinerlei Funktion, hoffe das neue Gerät geht - werde berichten --- Nachtrag : der Umtausch erfolge reibungslos, war über die Schnelligkeit erstaunt. Das neue Gerät funktioniert, hübsch anzusehen - aber der Ton ...er entspricht dem Preis. Ähnlich der Wiedergabe aus PC oder Handy. Wird behalten, da er seinen Zweck erfüllt, aber für anspruchsvollere Hörer nicht zu empfehlen.
unfortunately it does not work .... now hope for a new device. Delivery very well packaged, on time...but no function at all, hope the new device works - will report --- addendum: the exchange went smoothly, was amazed at the speed. The new unit works, nice to look at - but the sound...it matches the price. Similar to playback from a PC or mobile phone. Will keep as it serves its purpose but not recommended for more demanding listeners.

Mir gefällt das Design ganz gut und mein Gerät läuft tadellos. Schade, das die LP’s über das Koffergehäuse hinaus schauen. Klang ist prima und auch sind gibt es nichts zu meckern, daher vergebe ich sehr gerne 5 Sterne.
I really like the design and my device runs perfectly. Too bad that the LP's look beyond the case housing. The sound is great and there is nothing to complain about, so I'm happy to give it 5 stars.
