Product description

An extra round for your preferences: the Klarstein El Paso ceiling fan with ceiling lighting provides you and your loved ones with a fresh breeze or warm air circulation as required.

With a diameter of 52" (132 cm), the 3 speed levels high, medium, low and 180 rotations per minute, the Klarstein El Paso ceiling fan reliably sets air masses in motion at the push of a button. It moves up to 10,344 m³ air per hour with its three sturdy oak-look blades, which may be selected in two different directions of rotation in order to enable use on both warm and cold days. In clockwise rotation, it pushes warm air down from the ceiling and thus helps with heating in winter. In the other direction, it provides the entire room with a refreshing air flow and gives you relief on hot days. An integrated ceiling lamp with an E27 socket also sheds light in the darkness and enables space-saving installation directly on the existing power supply. In addition, many functions of the El Paso can be carried out directly from below using the remote control.

Refreshment, heat circulation and ceiling lighting in one: the Klarstein El Paso 2-in-1 ceiling fan convinces with many functions and convenient remote control.

Please note that the bulbs required and the batteries for the remote control are not included in the scope of delivery.

Toller Ventilator. Aufbau etwas schwierig. Wenn er aber hängt, sehr schönes Teil.

Great fan. Assembly is a bit tricky. But once it's up, it's a very nice piece.

A fan was installed on the ceiling to optimize the heat from our stove, and it is effective.

I find ceiling fan chandeliers incredibly useful, so much so that I have them in every room. When I had to replace one that had become noisy after years of faithful service, I was horrified to discover that most of the ones on sale now have integrated LEDs. Having had bad experiences in the past with integrated LEDs in lamps, since when they break, you have to replace the entire lamp when previously you could just replace the bulb, I came across this one with a replaceable bulb. The "body" of the chandelier is exactly the same as the one I needed to replace, proving that it's an older design, but it has been updated with three long blades instead of the five medium-sized blades I had previously purchased. Plus, the one I got has oak-colored blades that look great. The blades spin well and the motor isn't noisy (at least for now). The only flaw is that at maximum speed, the chandelier shakes quite a bit, proving it's not balanced (perhaps I installed it incorrectly). Regarding assembly, it was a bit of a hassle to install the blades; I had to slightly rotate the internal ring that holds them (could this have caused the imbalance?). I recommend installing the blades while the chandelier is down; it would have been impossible to do it while climbing, as the instructions say. Hanging the chandelier upside down was very easy, as the base that anchors to the ceiling is exactly the same as the previous chandelier. One negative I did find, however, is the lack of a dimmer; I thought I'd read in some comments that it had one, but never mind. The direction of rotation of the blades can be reversed using a switch above the motor. I've now installed one that blows air upwards for the winter. Overall, I'm happy with the result; for the price, they're a good deal, I have the replaceable bulbs I wanted, and the motor isn't noisy. The only issues are the lack of a dimmer and the vibrations at maximum speed. I immediately ordered another one for my wife's studio (how could I say no ;)

I bought this fan for the second time. Overall, it's very good; the noise level is excellent, and the remote control is perfect – no need to get up from the sofa! I highly recommend it.

Equipment installed today. It's a shame the wall plugs for mounting the fan aren't included. Assembly is fairly straightforward for any reasonably competent DIYer. (Note: I did say reasonably competent DIYers!) The fan noise is very low at medium speed, a little more noticeable at full speed, and inaudible at low speed. So, to sum up: a very good fan with excellent value for money.

(Suitable LED light sources below) In short: Assembly is a bit fiddly for beginners, but doable. Before finalizing the position of the bracket (ceiling mounting), ensure the infrared receiver is correctly aligned. Hang the base unit in the bracket and align the hole for the IR receiver > note the bracket's position > then everything will work correctly. We recommend using 4 x 8 x 60 mm brand-name wall plugs and 4 x 60 mm Spax screws; this will ensure nothing wobbles and the fan will stay in place for years. Hanging the fan in the ceiling mounting bracket: The sequence is important for success and to avoid frustration; it is clearly explained in the assembly instructions. First, attach the motor, slide in the control unit, and connect the power supply plug and connectors. + In operation, the receiver is quite insensitive to signal strength; the transmitter is sufficiently strong. + Super quiet; a dB-A measurement would be pointless, as only the highest setting would register anything in dB (over 45 dBA). The medium setting is barely audible, like a whisper. The lowest setting is almost inaudible. + Airflow: Our ceiling fan is mounted above the foot of the bed, and the airflow is perfectly adequate. Even the lowest setting provides a noticeable breeze. +- Material/Workmanship: The three blades are identical to within 0.5g (measured: total weight, partial weight of blade tip, partial weight of mounting end). I took this measurement before mounting the blades to avoid any imbalance. + Smoothness of Operation: A very slight vibration only occurs at full speed, but it is minimal. Balancing the mounted blades would be very complex and technically demanding, therefore I disregarded the 1g difference in blade weight. I can only give a final assessment of the motor/lifespan after one to two years. + Light switch status: Many will operate the ceiling fan using the existing electrical wiring in the ceiling. The "230V light switch" can still be used accordingly, as the El Paso remembers the last state of the light (on/off). For safety reasons, the motor is always switched off when the fan is on. +- In practice, you will likely switch off the light to go to sleep and turn on the fan. To have the light on again when you switch it on the next evening, you have to remember to switch the light back on with the remote control beforehand. A second remote control would be very practical or desirable for placement next to the "old" 230V light switch. IR remote controls from China can be found online. I'll invest €15 to test it :-). + Bulb position: The base can be rotated 120° and screwed into three positions, allowing for a rough adjustment of the light distribution depending on the bulb used. ***************************Suitable bulbs************************************** Osram LED Star Classic A bulb, non-dimmable (this design is quite short and fits perfectly). The bulbs are available as replacements for 40-150W bulbs; listed are 75/100W versions: 75W replacement / 8W LED: https://www.amazon.de/Osram-Classic-Kolbenform-E27-Sockel-Warmwei%C3%9F/dp/B0711XQT7N/ref=sr_1_11?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=Osram+LED+Star+Classic+A+Lampe%2C+in+Kolbenform+mit+E27-Sockel%2C+nicht+dimmbar%2C+Ersetzt+100+Watt&qid=1594109582&sr=8-11100W Replacement / 11W LED: https://www.amazon.de/Osram-Classic-Kolbenform-E27-Sockel-Warmwei%C3%9F/dp/B073QSXX53/ref=psdc_248429031_t1_B0711XQT7ND The 11W LED version provides sufficient light (1,420 lumens). The bulb holder can be screwed into three different positions, allowing for adjustable room illumination. I can confidently give it 5 stars. The negative reviews I read for other "cheaper" ceiling fans definitely gave me pause before buying.
