Eyecatcher Sehr schön anzusehen! Volumen für mindestens 2 x 1 kg Brot. Das Material ist hervorragend. Eigentlich habe ich bei dem Preis ein dünnes Blech erwartet, wurde aber angenehm überrascht! Sehr stabile Brotdose, gut verarbeitet und ein echter Hingucker in unserer eher kleinen Küche!

Toller Brotkasten Sehr schöner Brotkasten, der auch optisch was her macht und sich gut in die Küche einfügt. Er ist groß genug, um je nach Größe ein oder zwei Brote und zusätzlich aber auch noch einige Brötchen, Brezeln oder ähnliches zu beherbergen. Die Backwaren bleiben länger frisch, der Brotkorb lässt sich auch super reinigen. Wir hatten vorher einen Brotkorb aus Bambus, der dann leider innen irgendwann geschimmelt ist. Mit diesem hier sind wir nun sehr zufrieden!

It's large enough to hold one or two loaves of bread, depending on the size, plus a few rolls, pretzels, or similar items. Baked goods stay fresher longer, and the bread bin is also easy to clean. We previously had a bamboo bread bin, which unfortunately eventually developed mold on the inside. We're very happy with this one!

Sehr schön Ich hatte mir erst eine Box von einer anderen Firma bestellt die allerdings 14 Tage nicht kam. Nach der 3. Mail, dass sich die Auslieferung verzögert, hab ich alles storniert und diese bestellt. Sie ist wirklich schön. Hat ein tolles Vintage-Design, ist sehr gut verarbeitet und es passt ein großes Graubrot und ein Toastbrot rein. Hinten sind Löcher für die Belüftung, das ist super. In meiner alten Box hielt sich die Feuchtigkeit und alles schimmelte schnell. Das passiert hier nicht so schnell. Auch die Lieferung war schnell. Bin zufrieden.

Very nice. I had just ordered a box from another company, but it didn't arrive for 14 days. After the third email saying the delivery was delayed, I canceled everything and ordered this one. It's really nice. It has a great vintage design, is very well made, and fits a large loaf of brown bread and a slice of toast. There are holes in the back for ventilation, which is great. My old box held moisture, and everything quickly grew mold. That doesn't happen so quickly here. Delivery was also fast. I'm satisfied.

It arrived ahead of schedule, perfectly packaged, and is very pretty. It's beautifully lacquered and flawless, as other reviews have noted. As for whether it keeps bread well, I don't know, because it arrived today. But I would definitely buy it again.

Fast delivery and very well packaged! No defects. It seems solid and gives a nice effect on the worktop. Just be careful of the color which is not as white as the presentation on Amazon but which is more towards a slightly grayed white. It does not detract from its style in any way, it is superb! There is enough space to put sandwich bread, pastries and half baguettes. I do not regret my purchase!

Très belle, c’est la première boite à pain que j’achète. Elle conserve le pain qui devient assez mou plusieurs jours. Dans un sac à pain en tissu il ne devient pas aussi mou. Il faut voir ce que l’on préfère. Un peu fragile, il ne faut pas la cogner sinon il y a des bosses et le coucercle risque de ne plus fermer correctement. Je suis contente de l’achat, elle est rangée sur une table où elle est en sécurité et élégante.

Very beautiful, this is the first bread box I've bought. It keeps the bread, which becomes quite soft, fresh for several days. In a cloth bread bag it doesn't become as soft. You have to see what you prefer. A little fragile, you shouldn't hit it otherwise there are dents and the lid may no longer close properly. I'm happy with the purchase, it's stored on a table where it's safe and elegant.

Design super, allerdings nach dem Kauf unbedingte die Bodenversiegelung prüfen. Unsere Box rostet von innen an einer nicht richtig versiegelten Stelle!

Great design, but be sure to check the bottom seal after purchase. Our box is rusting on the inside in an improperly sealed area!

Es handelt sich um dünnes, lackiertes Blech - ein bisschen stabiler wäre schön gewesen. Die Verarbeitung ist ganz ok, allerdings hat der Deckel keine Sperre, er klappt also - wenn man ihn nicht festhält- nach hinten über, was bei der dünne des Blechs schief gehen kann. Außerdem habe ich 'Gummifüße' unter die Dose geklebt, damit sie nicht so haltlos und schabend über den Tisch rutscht. Für Brötchen finde ich die Dose nicht geeignet. Sie werden schnell pappig. Brot ist akzeptabel. Die Dose sieht nett aus, ist aber aufgrund des Materials mit Vorsicht zu behandeln. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis überzeugt mich nicht.

It's made of thin, painted sheet metal—a bit more sturdy would have been nice. The workmanship is okay, but the lid doesn't have a locking mechanism, so if you don't hold it firmly, it flips over backward, which can be a problem given the thinness of the sheet metal. I also glued rubber feet under the container to prevent it from sliding around on the table. I don't think the container is suitable for rolls. They get sticky quickly. Bread is acceptable. The container looks nice, but due to the material, it should be handled with care. I'm not convinced by the price/performance ratio.

Going back and forth between a few different bread boxes, and this one was really an excellent choice. Looks amazing, and is a sturdy material. It doesn't feel cheap, like so many of them do. The personal note from Jan & Carrie made a huge difference too. Thanks guys!

Seit 2 1/2 Wochen lege ich mein selbstgebackenes Brot in diesen Kasten. Da es vorher eingefroren ist, warte ich natürlich, bis es vollständig aufgetaut ist. Vom so oft beschriebenen Schimmel ist bis heute nichts zu sehen, obwohl es bs zum endgültigen Verzehr doch einige Tage im Kasten aushalten muss. Leider bleibt die Kruste nicht knusprig, aber trotzdem schmackhaft. Das Brot wird in 4-5 Tagen auch nicht trocken. Insgesamt 4 Sterne.

I've been putting my homemade bread in this tin for 2.5 weeks. Since it was frozen beforehand, I'm naturally waiting until it's completely thawed. There's still no sign of the oft-described mold, even though it does have to sit in the tin for a few days before it's ready to eat. Unfortunately, the crust doesn't stay crispy, but it's still tasty. The bread doesn't dry out in 4-5 days either. Overall, 4 stars.

Ich bin von dem Brotkasten begeisterte. Sieht stylisch aus, hält frisch und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Durch die Luftzirkulation hat unser Brot noch nicht einmal geschimmelt wie manche beschreiben. Es passt 1 großes Brot hinein und Vlt 2-3 Brötchen, aber das ist ausreichend.

I'm thrilled with the bread bin. It looks stylish, keeps things fresh, and serves its purpose. Thanks to the air circulation, our bread hasn't even gone moldy, as some people have reported. It fits one large loaf and maybe 2-3 rolls, but that's plenty.

Hatte mir die Brotbox bestellt und diese kam dann auch innerhalb weniger Tage. Leider fehlte am Griff eine Schraube und weiter war ein Lackschaden im Deckel innen vorhanden, ansonsten war die Box einwandfrei. Über die beiliegende Karte habe ich dann direkt mit dem Hersteller Kontakt aufgenommen, welcher mir sofort eine neue Box zuschickte und mir weiterhin den Kaufpreis wieder erstattete. Soviel Service hätte ich nie erwartet. Die Antwort kam innerhalb weniger Stunden und ohne jegliche Diskussion, wie man es von anderen Anbietern kennt. Top!! Die Box an sich sieht schick aus und erfüllt ihren Zweck. Da wir sie erst seit einigen Tagen in Benutzung haben, kann ich leider keine Auskunft zur Frischhaltestufe der Box sagen, aber ansonsten macht sie ihren Job ganz hervorragend. Jederzeit wieder....

I ordered the lunch box, and it arrived within a few days. Unfortunately, a screw was missing from the handle, and there was some paint damage on the inside of the lid; otherwise, the box was perfect. I contacted the manufacturer directly using the enclosed card, and they immediately sent me a new box and refunded the purchase price. I never expected such great service. The response came within a few hours and without any discussion, as is typical with other providers. Excellent! The box itself looks great and serves its purpose. Since we've only been using it for a few days, I can't comment on its freshness level, but otherwise, it does its job perfectly. I'd buy it again anytime...

Brotkasten? Ich war etwas skeptisch! Aber dieser Brotkasten hat den Test mit meinem selbst gebackenem Brot zu 100% bestanden! Bei einer Lagertemperatur von 20 - 21°C hielt das Brot 5 Tage, dann war es leider alle. Vom Geschmack und der Konsistenz des Brotes war ich selbst am 5 Tag überrascht. Im Paket lag ein lieber und sehr persönlicher Gruß vom Inhaberpaar der Firma. Das nennt mann Kundenorientiert. Danke! Ich freue mich jeden Tag über den Brotkasten, der Top in meinen Einrichtungsstil passt. Garantierte Weiterempfehlung!

Bread bin? I was a bit skeptical! But this bread bin passed the test with my homemade bread 100%! At a storage temperature of 20-21°C, the bread lasted for 5 days, but then, unfortunately, it was gone. I was surprised by the taste and consistency of the bread, even on the 5th day. The package included a lovely and very personal greeting from the company's owners. Now that's customer service. Thank you! I enjoy the bread bin every day; it fits perfectly with my interior design. I definitely recommend it!

Dieser Retro Brotkasten sieht Mega cool aus, es passt auch richtig viel rein, ein ganzes Brot meinigen Brötchen zum Beispiel. Es gab bei meiner Lieferung ein kleines Problemchen das sofort und sehr zu meiner Zufriedenheit behoben wurde. Die Freundlichkeit von diesem Familienunternehmen möchte ich besonders hervor heben, wirklich Leute besser geht es echt nicht. Ich kann das ganze Sortiment nur weiter empfehlen!!!!

Diese Produkte sind einfach nur super, richtig schön und machen wirklich was her in der Küche. Hab das Set mit Kartoffel-und Zwiebeltopf, sowie den Brotkasten bestellt. Hatte ein kleines Problem, was sich mit dem Verkäufer super lösen ließ und habe direkt, per Expressversand Ersatz erhalten. Für den Kontakt würde ich mehr als 5 Sterne geben, wenn ich es könnte. Unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Kann die Artikel nur wärmstens empfehlen und gebe eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell, wie angekündigt. Der Brotkasten hat eine gute Haptik/Optik und lässt sich gut öffnen/schließen. Er passt perfekt für 1 großes American Sandwich und ca. 2 schlanke Packungen Brot. (Mein Mann isst alleine Brot und Toast) Das Toastbrot hält lange, bis zum Aufessen, nach 1 1/2 Wochen, noch frisch. Das Brot ist schneller aufgegessen aber war bisher nicht 1x verdorben (nach 2 Monaten Nutzung). Optisch ein Hingucker in unserer modernen „Landhausküche“. Kaufempfehlung von mir.

Delivery was quick, as advertised. The bread bin has a good feel and appearance and opens and closes easily. It's perfectly sized for one large American sandwich and about two slim packs of bread. (My husband eats bread and toast alone.) The toast stays fresh for a long time, even after 1.5 weeks. The bread is eaten faster but hasn't gone bad once (after 2 months of use). It's a visual eye-catcher in our modern "country kitchen." I highly recommend it.

Wir hatten den Brotkasten bestellt, er wurde super schnell geliefert. Man sah jedoch eine winzige Schramme, die allerdings nicht von außen sichtbar war. Nachdem wir (aufgrund des beiliegenden Zettels) die Verkäufer kontaktierten, antworteten sie innerhalb kürzester Zeit und sicherten uns zu, uns einen neuen zu schicken und zwar mit Expressversand. Schon nach 2 Tagen erhielten wir den neuen Brotkasten und dieser war ohne jegliche Kratzer oder andere Mängel. Die Kundenbetreuung wird hier echt groß geschrieben und die 2 weiteren Produkte, die wir über die Firma bestellten, waren auch Mängelfrei. Das Produkt an sich ist sehr schön verarbeitet und sieht echt gut aus. Unser Brot ist auch nach 3 Tagen noch wie frisch vom Bäcker. Also absolute Kaufempfehlung!!

We ordered the bread bin, and it was delivered super quickly. However, there was a tiny scratch, although it wasn't visible from the outside. After we contacted the seller (because of the enclosed note), they responded promptly and promised to send us a new one, using express delivery. We received the new bread bin just two days later, and it was free of any scratches or other defects. Customer service is truly a top priority here, and the two other products we ordered from the company were also flawless. The product itself is beautifully crafted and looks really good. Our bread still tastes like it's fresh from the bakery even after three days. I absolutely recommend it!

Bin mit dem Brotkasten super zufrieden. Er ist für einen 2-3-Personenhaushalt total ausreichend. Wir haben des Öfteren auch Brötchen darin. Ich muss sagen, dass das Brot sich wirklich etwas länger darin hält. Wir hatten oft das Problem, dass in diesem Sommer bei der Hitze das Brot (ich backe Brot nur selber, echtes Sauerteigbrot, ohne Hefe, kaufe kein Brot mehr) schon nach 2 Tagen zu schimmeln begann, da unser bisheriger Brotkasten luftdicht abschloss. Das passier jetzt erst nach 4 Tagen. Ich war erstaunt, wie leicht und dünn das Blech des Kastens war. Stört aber nicht. Man sitzt ja nicht drauf.

I'm extremely happy with the bread bin. It's perfectly adequate for a 2-3-person household. We often put rolls in it, too. I have to say, the bread actually keeps a bit longer in it. We often had the problem that this summer, in the heat, the bread (I only bake my own bread, real sourdough, without yeast, and I don't buy any more bread) would start to mold after just two days, because our previous bread bin was airtight. Now, that only happens after four days. I was amazed at how light and thin the metal of the bin was. But it doesn't matter. You don't sit on it, after all.

Sehr schön und praktisch wir mussten uns einen Brotkasten anschaffen, da unsere Katzen regelmäßig über Nacht Brötchentüten etc aufgerissen und verspeist haben. Das Design dieser Brotbox hat uns sofort überzeugt. Wir lieben shabby chic look und diese box passt gut in unsere Küche. Der Versand erfolgte sehr schnell und bis jetzt können wir nur positives sagen! Die Box ist sicher gegenüber nächtlichen kleinen pelzigen Einbrechern ;), die Backwaren halten sehr viel länger und bleiben länger frisch (vorbei die Tage, an denen Brötchen am nächsten Tag Knochen hart und ungenießbar sind). Einziges Manko: der Deckel fällt schnell und fest zu. Wenn meine Tochter an der box ist, passe ich auf, dass der Deckel nicht ausersehen zu fällt. Auch ich habe mir hier leider schon die Finger geklemmt. Das ist nicht allzu schmerzhaft, könnte aber schon evtl verbessert werden. :)

Very nice and practical. We had to get a bread box because our cats regularly ripped open and ate roll bags and other items overnight. The design of this bread box immediately won us over. We love the shabby chic look, and this box fits perfectly in our kitchen. Shipping was very fast, and so far we have only positive things to say! The box is safe from little furry burglars at night ;), the baked goods keep much longer and stay fresh longer (gone are the days when rolls are bone-hard and inedible the next day). The only drawback: the lid closes quickly and tightly. When my daughter is using the box, I make sure it doesn't accidentally close. I've unfortunately pinched my fingers here myself. It's not too painful, but it could definitely be improved. :)
