I received this a few years ago and still love it. I use one at work and have one a home. I do have to sharpen it occasionally. Fits great in my hand. I loved it so much that I have given this as gifts to two other people.

I still get a kick out of using it. The wide blade is great for squashing garlic. Julienne slicing is a breeze, it's just a very nice knife to own.
I've been a professional chef for 38 years. This is my go to knife at work and at home. It holds an edge well although I do sharpen my knives very often. It's comfortable, great weight, great balance, great roll, food falls from the blade easily and....... it's cool looking. :)
Being an Executive Chef in a top restaurant, having the very best professional knives is an absolute must. I own probably 50 knives in total, including the Zelite Alpha-Royal range and the Executive-Plus range (I also own Shun, Bob Kramer, Wusthof, Zwilling Henckels and others). There is something extra special about this brand-new Razor-Edge line just released by Zelite.If you like a Japanese style blade as in a lighter knife with unbelievable sharpness, then I think this knife series would work incredibly well for you. Most knives have a blade depth of 40mm or similar, where this Chef knife has a very deep blade of 50mm. It uses ultra-premium Japanese AUS8 steel which is known for its superior ability to take a seriously sharp edge and maintain it (you should always cut on soft surfaces like wood or plastic, never glass or stone). The shape of the blade is like a traditional gyuto knife and the tapered bolster makes it perfect for the pinch grip style of cutting. I personally love the handle feel and with the naturally looking black Pakkawood handle finished off with the luxury silver mosaic, this will be a very hard knife to beat regardless of the brand you look at. It has perfect balance, sharp as a razor, and has a certain lightness to it that means you can get through your food prep at lightening speeds.It comes with a real black leather protective sheath which is thick, robust and safely houses this incredibly sharp blade. Pure luxury which is exactly what can be said about the presentation box it comes in. If you know a very special person who loves cooking or is a professional chef, I can recommend this as the ABSOLUTE BEST gift they could ever receive. I own several brands of knives and they all have favourite points that make them stand out. The Zelite Razor-Edge series for me stands out for sharpness, Japanese style, lighter weight than my folded steel blades, and has a certain classic / traditional class about them. The Zelite boning knife is an addition to the Zelite family of knives that I have been accumulating since I got rid of the Wushofs that I had previously used. My new kitchen is close to completion and I wanted a full set of knives to complement the new modern room that will form the hub of my house. The Zelite range certainly looks and feels as high quality as the kitchen that they will be used in.Delivery/Packaging - Again Zelite did not disappoint, with the knife arriving next day despite Amazon saying 3-5 days. The packaging was again exactly what I have come to expect from such a high end product, with the knife extremely well protected.Product - The first thing you notice with this knife once you first use it, is how extremely sharp it is. It took the large lamb joint I first used it on and cut through the meat on the bone like a knife through butter. I usually struggle to get a good slicing operation going when I try to cut meat off a joint with bone, but this time it was effortless. The handle is well balanced which gives you good control of the cut. Usually there is still a fair bit of meat left on the bone whenever I'm cut meat but this time the dog was left disappointed with the leftovers!!Overall another quality knife from the Zelite team and I look forward to completing my collection whenever the next one comes out.A thoroughly recommended 5 star product.
I was originally drawn to this knife by the large amount of 5 star reviews that it had. I was sceptical as it is made by a company I had never heard of and was wary of spending this amount of money on an untested product. I decided to undertake my own research on the knife and the company behind it. Not finding any bad reviews at all I decided to take a punt and order it. The knife arrived in typical Amazon style packed into a large box 90% of which was packing material with the knife box nicely protected. The knife comes in a very impressive sturdy cardboard box with a magnetic farcening. Inside is the knife in its own foam cut out giving it a place to neatly put it when you’re not using it although I won’t be using it as I have a protective knife sheath I use for this size of knife. The knife its self is really very impressive with a good heft to it and as others have said wickedly sharp (which is to be expected at this price!). You will be able to easily slice through any chosen food just remember to use a proper chopping board and not directly onto a kitchen surface as this will easily blunt the blade. The handle is very nice to hold and is good after a while chopping. The knife is slightly tip heavy but I like that. The only drawback for me is on the left hand side of the blade the company has engraved there logo and name into the metal meaning that it is slightly rougher and will need to keep very clean as bacteria can build up if not kept clean. I have had the knife for 4 days and would really suggest it to people looking for a good chef’s knife. The rest of the range is looking tempting but only at the current prices I don’t know if they would be worth the full asking price and would be surprised if they ever go up to that price.

Das Messer an sich ist schick, liegt gut in der Hand, ist aus vergleichsweise sehr hochwertigem Stahl und schön scharf – aber der Wellenschliff ist recht spitz, so daß es eher schwierig ist, in die Kruste eines Brotes zu kommen, ohne abzugleiten. Für die meisten Brote ist ein Messer mit flacherem Wellenschliff besser geeignet.
The knife itself is stylish, fits well in the hand, is made of comparatively high-quality steel and is nice and sharp – but the serrated edge is quite sharp, making it rather difficult to cut into the crust of a loaf of bread without slipping. For most breads, a knife with a shallower serrated edge is more suitable.

Bought it and was blown away by the price for a well-presented white case with a leather sheath that came with it. Handle was more comfortable that my old chef knife and tested to cut thru paper. Mate I gave it too was happy with it was well. Not sure about value as with the price you can get another similar MIC knives also made in yangjiang the knife capital of china from aliexpress with a real wood handle and made using the imitation version of VG10 steel or imported AUS10/AUS8 steel for 10-20 quid less. If not willing to wait and worried by the warranty I recommend buying this brand on amazon uk

I love this knife, it's so sharp straight from the box. Feels so light yet fits perfectly in my hand. Also the leather blade sheath keeps it safe from accidents.

Im Großen und Ganzen bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Messer, er schneidet sehr sehr gut, liegt super in der Hand, ich weiß noch nicht wie es mit der Zeit sein wird aber bis jetzt super Messer. Einziges Manko, weswegen auch 1 Sternabzug, finde ich die Spitze. Diese ist sehr sehr empfindlich. Ich halte den Messer in einer Holzhalterung die speziell für Messer ist und leider ist die Spitze abgebogen, ich glaube dies soll nicht passieren bei einem Markenmesser, dies ist ja nur vom Eigengewicht passiert, aber für diesen Preis finde ich es immer noch ein unschlagbares Angebot. Und das Messer nur in der eigenen Box zu halten kommt nicht in Frage, weil diese auch riesig ist.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the knife. It cuts extremely well and feels great in the hand. I don't know how it will hold up over time, but so far it's a fantastic knife. My only complaint, and the reason for deducting one star, is the tip. It's very fragile. I keep the knife in a wooden holder specifically designed for knives, and unfortunately, the tip has bent. I don't think this should happen with a brand-name knife, as it only bent due to its own weight. However, for the price, I still think it's an unbeatable deal. And keeping the knife only in its box isn't an option because the box is also huge.

Mein Mann ist ein ambitionierter Hobbykoch, dem bisher noch DAS richtige Chefmesser gefehlt hat. So habe ich mich auf die Suche begeben und Zelite Infinity entdeckt. Das Messer schien gut bewertet und hübsch anzusehen zu sein, außerdem ist mein Mann großer Japan Fan... ja, auf mehr basierte mein Kauf erstmal nicht.Heute kam das gute Stück an und mein Gott ist das scharf! Ich bin mir sicher, damit kann man Atome spalten. Es liegt wunderbar in der Hand, auch für mich Laien und mein Mann ist restlos begeistert.Ich denke er wird seine Messerkollektion nach und nach um weitere Exemplare von Zelite Infinity erweitern.
My husband is an ambitious amateur chef who was still missing THE perfect chef's knife. So I went searching and discovered the Zelite Infinity. The knife seemed to have good reviews and looked nice, plus my husband is a big fan of Japanese cuisine... well, that was pretty much all I was thinking about. The knife arrived today, and wow, is it sharp! I'm sure you could split atoms with it. It feels wonderful in the hand, even for a novice like me, and my husband is absolutely thrilled. I think he'll gradually add more Zelite Infinity knives to his collection.

Real nice knife. Great blade,lovely handle,sheath is well made and makes you want to strap it to your calf lol. If you want up your knife game for the price I haven't came across any better

So useful for fiddly bits of trimming (taking the pith from inside bell peppers etc). Really handy little knife that I use far more than I thought I would. Razor sharp too (like all the Zelite knives I've had).

I was given this as a gift. I don't know whether to display it on the wall, shave with it, or mince a filet. Superb craftsmanship and beautiful presentation. This replaces my trusty 8" Global that my son broke whilst using it as a screwdriver. I used it for one service tonight and it was a gem. Like a giant scalpel. The balance is petty good; a little bit heavy on the the front two fingers, but I got used to that after about 10 minutes. The knuckle clearance is excellent for a fat fingered chef like me. I've only given 3 stars for durability because I've not had it long enough to form a considered opinion but It looks more delicate than my Global. That shouldn't be a problem if you don't use it to bolt IKEA furniture together. My colleague used it to julienne a carrot and the knife was better than him! It's a grown-ups knife so you'll need a whetstone (don't use a pull through) but if you'll understand that as soon as you start using it. I'll update this in a few weeks but at the moment I'm a Zelite convert. SC

My only regret is that this style of knife isn't available in the 'Comfort' series: it doesn't match my other Zelite knives.

Brilliant knife hasn't even started blunting yet after alot of abuse. Unfortunately the sheath that comes with it always feels likes it going to chop your finger off when you take it out of it. Apart from that can't fault it.

Bought for partner's birthday, who happens to be a chef, so I was very aware it had to be good. Thankfully they were overjoyed and absolutely loved the knife; they noted the quality and craftsmanship of the knife and has since said they would recommend it to anybody else.

Bought as a domestic knife for non professional who loves barbecuing and wanted a good knife for cutting joints into steak portions and also for carving. Feels good to handle and very very sharp. Overall pleased with product and service.

They all come beautifully boxed and presented. This knife comes with a good quality leather sheath and a polishing cloth. I still use them but my Gustav Emil Em, Global Sabatier (carbon steel originals) knives do sadly come second best. Thank you Zelite. Best knives Ive ever used.
