With 61 dynamic expression light buttons, the Schubert Etude 450 USB Beginner's Keyboard leads the way into the magical world of sounds and invites beginners and returning ones to play and practice their own melodies.
460 voices, 260 rhythms and 65 demo songs, as well as a wide-ranging percussion pad offer a great design treasure to encourage creativity. Additionally it provides pitch bend and other controllable effects, e.g. sustain and vibrato for creativity.
In addition to the classical learning of notes from sheet music, the Schubert Etude 450 USB provides the possibility to familiarize yourself with the keyboard in a very intuitive way. With the intelligent training function, selected pieces are learned note by note in 3 successive learning modes. In individual steps, tones, melody and rhythm are trained, the lit keys guiding the path through the note space.
Additional melodies can be played on the keyboard thanks to the USB MIDI interface. A useful feature in sketching song ideas or practicing is the integrated recording function. The split function divides the keyboard into bass and melody range, so that two people can also play at the same pitch. This is particularly practical when playing with a teacher or partner player. The 3.5mm jack microphone connection ensures that you can totally focus on playing music regardless of the time of day, roommates and neighbours. The microphone input can be used for the accompanying vocals.
The Schubert Etude 450 USB Beginner's Keyboard introduces beginners without the need for previous knowledge intuitively into the world of black and white keys, where intermittent sounds and dissonances merge into a harmonious sound landscape.

Bin ganz zufrieden mit dem Keyboard. Hat alles das was ich benötige. Der Klang ist für den Preis in Ordnung. Die Begleitrhytmen könnten moderner sein. So wie auch die Tastenklänge .

Der Klang ist zunächst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, doch gerade wenn man anfängt zu lernen oder nach vielen Jahren erst einmal wieder reinkommen möchte, hat das Keyboard mehr als genug Funktionen, um sich auszutoben. Mir persönlich hätten weniger Töne und das Metronom ausgereicht und mir dafür etwas höhere Klangqualität gewünscht, aber für die Anschlagsdynamik bin ich äußerst dankbar und im Gegensatz zu meinem Vorherigen (bei welchen die Anschlagsdynamik ganz fehlte) sind die Tastentöne von der Klanglautstärke her viel besser ausgeglichen. Bei meinem Alten konnte man kaum noch eine Grundmelodie erkennen, weil die Akkorde alles übertönt haben.
The sound takes some getting used to at first, but just when you're starting to learn or want to get back into it after many years, the keyboard has more than enough functions to let off steam. Personally, fewer tones and the metronome would have been enough for me and I would have liked a little higher sound quality, but I am extremely grateful for the touch dynamics and in contrast to my previous one (where touch dynamics were completely missing) the key tones are much better balanced in terms of sound volume. With my old man you could hardly recognize a basic melody because the chords drowned everything out.

Die Verarbeitung des Keyboards finde ich bisher okay. Das Spielgefühl finde ich angenehm. Die Leuchttasten sind aber bloß Spielerei ohne sinnvollen Nutzen, da würde ich im Nachhinein drauf verzichten. Der Klang ist für den Preis auch in Ordnung. Die Verbindung über USB zu PC, Tablet oder Smartphone finde ich Klasse, aber nun kommt mein Hauptkritikpunkt: Die Lautsprecher rauschen permanent, auch über den Kopfhörer Ausgang und DAS geht gar nicht! Werde es aber wohl zum Üben behalten, da ich plane mir demnächst ein besseres Instrument anzuschaffen.
So far I think the processing of the keyboard is okay. I like the feel of the game. The illuminated buttons are just a gimmick with no useful use, so I would do without them in retrospect. The sound is also okay for the price. I think the connection via USB to a PC, tablet or smartphone is great, but now comes my main point of criticism: the loudspeakers rustle constantly, also via the headphone output and THAT doesn't work at all! But I'll probably keep it for practice, because I'm planning to buy a better instrument soon.
