Product description
The Yukatana Olearus mummy sleeping bag for teenagers makes spontaneous overnights or trekking and hiking trips for teens easy. The dimensions of the sleeping bag are tailored to the needs of youthful body measurements, minimising empty space in the foot to increase heat storage. The tapered-to-the-foot shape hugs the body and thus helps to keep you warm. The double-layered filling material out of H4 hollow fibres stores heat the same way that a polar bear’s fur stores heat. 300g/m² inner filling material provides a pleasant sleeping climate within a range of 15 to-5 ° C outdoor temperature.
In order to secure the top end and prevent unnecessary heat loss, the sleeping bag features a thermal collar in the neck / shoulder area and a contoured hood. Both can be adjusted with drawstrings to fit the body and head of the sleeper, thus keeping the heat inside. Even when the hood is tightened, there is a sufficiently large opening for the face to ensure plenty of fresh air as you sleep. The side zipper opens both from the inside and outside, facilitating entry and exit from the sleeping bag. A Velcro strap holds it in place during sleep to prevent unintentional contact with the sleeper.
The compression stowage bag facilitates the packing of the Yukatana mummy sleeping bag between uses. No cumbersome or complicated folding of the sleeping bag is necessary: simply stuff it in the bag and it is compressed. Tension straps on the bag hold it in shape and make for easy and convenient transport or storage of the Olearus sleeping bag. Should you need to dry the sleeping bag, it features two loops at the foot end which enable you to easily hang it out to air or dry the sleeping bag.
