RCD 230 Radio CD Player

The RCD 230 portable stereo from auna is a multi-talented device which meets virtually every need. The shapely, rounded device in white with silver ornamentation offers its users a wide range of audio playback options; Cd player, tape deck, MP3 playback via USB or SD card slot and an AM / FM radio.

The CD player is embedded in the top of the stereo system, and plays CD-Rs, CD-RWs and MP3 CDs in addition to standard CDs. Up to twenty favourite songs may be programmed to create a personal playlist. You can also repeat just one title or the entire CD in an endless loop. To avoid accidental opening on-the-go, the CD cover is opened and closed manually.

Right next to the CD player, the RCD 230 features ports for SD cards and USB sticks. Via these ports, the device allows for playback of MP3 tracks from appropriate storage media, without hesitation. Here, too, you can create a 20-track playlist or select an individual track or an entire directory to repeat.

For nostalgic listeners, the stereo features a cassette deck on the front side. It is controlled via the five usual classic buttons (play, pause, etc.) which are easily accessible on top of the device. Perfect for anyone who wants to finally listen again to their classic tape collection.

Finally, auna rounds out the range of features with a built-in radio that receives both AM and FM transmissions. An extendable and retractable antenna on the rear panels allows you to find the right channels. Tuning of the PLL radio is done via a dial on top of the device.

If that’s not enough, the RCD 230 also features a 3.5mm jack AUX input on the back for connecting external audio devices. Here there is also a headphone connection, also in the form of a 3.5mm jack port.

All functions of the RCD 230 can be controlled via a few buttons, while an LCD display on the front panel always provides information on the selected settings. A moody, blue backlight allows you to always see the operation, even in the dark. For a full sound, the device features two 3-way speakers (a total of 6 speakers). If you are still looking for something extra to tickle the pit of your stomach, the auna portable stereo features a switchable bass booster to add even more depth.

The RCD 230 can be operated via mains or batteries. The battery operation, handy weight and size as well as a top-side carrying handle make the stereo system ideal for use on the road, at the garden, at a picnic or on the beach.
